Lancia was to continue success in the WRC, in the Group A World Rally Championship in the 1980s. With sponsorship from Martini Racing, they take the Lancia Delta Integrale as a basis, with its turbocharged engine and permanent four-wheel drive system.
The regulations at the time stipulated that these racing cars had to be based on street versions of the car. And today I'm driving the street version of the most successful WRC rally car to this day, the legendary Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II [evolution]. And what the similarity is between this Lancia HF Delta Integrale Evo 2 and the Alfa Romeo 155 Q4, I will tell you all about as well!
