Aspyr just released a large update patch for the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection for PC on Steam. Here's my thoughts after trying out the game after downloading the update. May the force be with us all.

This is a PC update, not a console update. Everyone that’s posting update videos for this game needs to put PC in their thumbnail please! Console owners are still waiting!

Game is working great on ps5. They added the missing cut scenes and fixed the bf1 loading sounds, added inverted control options, fixed the sound issues. Good enough for me.
Did the patch release? I've been waiting for it to finally drop on ps5

@LonerLeary I just found out the hard way😔. I turned on my ps5 all pumped up just to be disappointed. Back to OG bf2 on pc I go.

Yah Kit Fisto's main combo ends in a lunge. It's not that it's buggy, it's just the same feeling as EA BF2 heroes having those choppy pushes forward with their attacks. Once you accustom to it, you can get to aiming, finding its hitbox, etc. At least I think that's what the complaint is.

Just played a match on switch tonight and it was decent! I only rubberbanded a couple times and went on a streak with Han Solo, and then Aayla Secura!! (94 kills lol I spawn camped there was only 2 other players it was very late like 4am)
I do think they’ll get this sorted. Just a rushed release.
nothings fixed till the bf2 hud is back in the corners of the screen.

Despite the problems, hot take, I actually still enjoy play BFCC. I don't play much multiplayer, and besides the occasional speaker explosion and no inverted aim, singleplayer hasn't done me wrong.
there are gems in this title, I’ll still be playing single player and some multiplayer when it’s working as well
Exactly you don't even have to play the multiplayer.
Just get battle front 2 2004 on pc and put the remaster mod, its WAAAY better and cheaper, even my potato pc can handle it.
Eh, I'll get the game regardless. It seems to work well enough, especially for the single player experience, and I love the originals so much. Definitely certain another update is coming as well.

Get the original on PC. Even an old potato can run it and it will be more stable and have more content with easy to install mods.
All the players have now made a refund or left the game because of it and will never come back. Without crossplay it is basically dead. A functioning launch is essential for such a Online Game. A month later or a few weeks later no one comes back because there are tons of other products. So it's dead on arrival!

Idk I don’t seem to be in the outrage that everyone is about bugs in the game. Growing up you kinda just get used to it. The only one I noticed was Utupau with the black screen but even then I’m like whatever an extra challenge. Like not trying to sound like a hater, but you guys sound like a bunch of crybabies about “THIS GAME IS UNPLAYABLE” bro like I get it, nobody wants bugs but it is what it is. It doesn’t take any of the enjoyment out of the game.
Those of us who have played battlefront II, now get to play the same thing but worse. There's literally no reason to excuse a worse version of what already exists.
