a spectrum receiver the stock V1 esc will work, some cheap Amazon wheels and tires with jconcepts c10 body and stock Spur as pin gear everything else is stock.
That was sweet. Them jumps and roll and somehow back on its wheels. Shoot throw some street type tires on it and see how it drifts. It's definitely got the speed and power to do it. Lol 😆

Remove front drive so it is only rear wheel, lower it, give it less grippy tires and you have an off-road race truck. It should be easier to control in corners and a lot less likely to flip

If I put so many brass weight If even I put some weights inside the tires I was doing the test on street concrete
I was using the brass wheels they weight 160gr

Nope not with this. You will probably want a lower kv like a 3000-5000 and lower gears than what I'm running as well. Mofo has a taller gear set that will make the stock motor do walking speed or the buzzsaw motor for brushed. Surpass rocket is what's in this and they have like 2000-9000 kv to pick from furitek will be the esc you want
I really doubt he can slow crawl with that huge pinion but if anyone watching is looking for a fast rig that can crawl so slow you cant see it move just then fast enough to do burnouts and kick up dirt the copy mine. I have built a rock bouncer buggy from a c10. I'm running furitek komodo outrigger motor, lizard pro esc, Treal 24% overdrive, 15t pinion gear (ok so if you use the nice aluminum furitek mount the you have to buy the brass 15t from furitek but for me I chewed through several brass gears maybe the mesh was wrong but I tried them and only metal ones work so I have to run the plastic furitek mount with 15t metal pinion and if I could find one I'm sure I could fit a 17t maybe 18t that would be awesome but I can't find one yet.) Ok so that's the speed part the rest of my buggy has a stretched front end widened all 4 corners 8mm 4mm lugs and the 4mm longer cv axles, massive 64mm LGRP trail king tires (best tires hands down but to large for many trucks), Treal bead locks, front and rear steering for donuts, double barrel shocks high clearance links and metal everything all the brass fitting I could fit, red LEDs in the rear using the HR metal bumper mount bright white in the front using the the high upside down "V" style bumper with tow hooks this works to also help keep the motor safe since it stick up high enough to hit the ground hard when you flip. Oh to get an idea what it looks like check out Mad Max on bcochener channel. Sorry for long winded post good luck
Nice. May I suggest a modification that I came up with for shocks that might help. The first test I did it was with some HR clone adjustable shocks, but it will work with any shock that has a shock shaft with head on it. I had tried the suggestions that are out there, adding "Green Slime" but that leaked and was messy with limited result, also tried using "Traxxas #5040 20 Million Weight Fluid" but that worked more like an elastomer bump stop and limited travel.
What I ended up doing was to take the head of the stock shaft and ground it flat to the shaft on 2 opposite sides. Then I added a small amount of the 20 million weight fluid. You can vary the amount of 20 MWF and vary the amount of dampening you get. Now that the 20 MWF can pass by the shock head you get dampening both compression and rebound and no loss of travel and so far, I have had no leaking so there is no mess or required maintenance.

I just got a 9200kv in my 2spd c24-1 18.9mph so far like half trigger. Was just looking into making my scx24 and bezgar 5 and HM202 brushless rockets. Was curious about these rockets and found a 12,000kv.. I should be testing in a month or so. Subscribed love ur channel
Thanks!!! That's awesome all I can say is watch the cog I'm experiencing some with this setup and its more likely the higher the kv at least in the scx the worm gears requires a little more torque

That is awesome. So what if someone wanted to do something that is actually usable maybe say 2/3 that speed so that is fast but can be driven and not strip out the gears? I'm thinking a slightly smaller pinion. So if I use that motor, that mounting plate but metal gears and a smaller pinion would that work do you think? Currently I have a fully modified rock bouncer bugger that was a C10 but all metal parts, every part. Furitek komodo, lizard pro, radio link, Treal 24%over drive, 25t pinion on 3s battery for speed, 4 wheel steer and it does rip I can burn out and the donuts with all wheel steer are awesome so I am fast but I want to be able to do jumps like the monster truck now I know I can grab a furitek Godzilla with the Rocketman transmission and be golden but I've already blown way too much money on this tiny truck so another $110 seems like too much anyway what are your thoughts should I go for the Godzilla or do you have a better option.
Try the blade 3980kv that is what is in my semi. It will go right where your Komodo is no changes needed it's the same size motor just higher kv and like $30.

Just curious, but, why does it matter how fast it can go, if it can't stay upright? Especially if you can only give it "full throttle" for a maximum of 2 seconds. Point is, 'speed' doesn't matter much of there's no 'stability'.
That c10 is like my test truck it stays stock most of the time. I want to see how the motor and gear set up did before I put time in making something more capable of the power. In the video I talked about this a bit, with making it wider and adding a little more weight or just putting it in the Gladiator that already has all that. I was running a stock 52t spur gear as my pinion and a mofo 32t tiny spur
What gears do I need to go and still be able to crawl slow
You will need more than just gears that mofo bam 4100kv motor on stock gear set up should do good with both

@@aldomandujano1355here is the link if you have a furitek esc it plugs right in I would go with the 4100kv with ff mount. The race set will get you even faster but lose alot of torque

Can you advise me on rocket, Tsido motors? Im looking to buy one of the Scx24 full metal chassis with 2ws to make a bouncer. I use xc10a esc in my Atomic drift car its good would a 3600kv rocket/ Tsido motor work for crawling?
& will a fms 2sp gb fit in the Scx24?

This is awesome. I'm new to the rc scene. When upgrading your receiver, what transmitter are most using? Can I use the stock gladiator transmitter and bind it to a different receiver??
Ahh so I assuming you talking scx24 gladiator that has the v2 esc/receiver (blue top)? You will need an esc and controller, I have spectrum it's kinda pricey alot of guys run flysky you can get the controller and receiver as a package, furitek also has one out. You won't be able to run you stock esc/receiver with an aftermarket receiver you will also need a esc to match your setup. And the stock controller will not bind to a aftermarket receiver that I know of anyway.

@@sinistercustomsx2434 hey you should look at the Radio link RC6GS. This is a 6 channel Tx/Rx that also runs Gyro all for $75. This is an amazing combo that has so many features I still haven't figured them all out and the price is super cheap. I'm lot affiliated I just purchased one and love it and seen none else mentioned it so figured I would. Really look it up before you get anything else it has so so many great reviews your head will spin. Good luck

So the gear set up you are running is still shorter so atthe same power the gears I'm running should still be faster 🤔 you are running a 1/1 I'm at more like a 2/1 my pinion gear is almost twice the size of my spur. But that double motor is an awesome idea I might have to borrow it lol

😆 but what if he had a scx24 TH-cam and was trying to show all the different was to modify that platform 🤔 and no money was put into this build yet lol the motor is for my monster truck lower gear of course the truck is my stock test rig and the mofo gear is for the monster truck and the Spur is an old stock one I had. It all just fun my friend 😀
