  • Trying out new location, and stronger wind, between 12 and 16 Knot. Turns out to be a huge improvement.

    Howdy from Texas! I am at this same level! A couple more sessions and I will be flying! You are almost there! Btw, I have the HIPE 6'0" and a 6m F-One (Swing). Very similar setup to yours.

    What size board are you using?

  • @christomo
    @christomo ปีที่แล้ว

    Nearly there all you need to do now is lift your legs unweight them as you pull down on wing like your doing a few chin ups hope that makes sense keep sharing your journey it's great to see the progress. It's hard to start but every session a little is learned take care mate

    watch the videos from tonicmag.. they will help you for getting on the foil. i think you body must be more upright so the pressure of the wing can get onto your board and the foil. keep pushin!

    I would say extend your front arm forward. its not easy if you come from a no board sport background

    Your back foot must be moved forward. You have enough speed but there is no lift because having your back foot behind the mast you are using foil as a brake.

      I came here to suggest the same thing. I have the 5'1" version of this board and my back foot is very far forward and close to the downwind rail to keep the board and foil flat before takeoff. This helps prevent stalling after takeoff too.

      @@AdamsHadEnough I really appreciate all the good information you guys are giving me, I will try to do that next time I am on the water. Thanks again. 🙏🏄🏼‍♂️

      @@flyingfootage I should also mention the foil size plays a big part in my stance. When I ride my Infinity 84 both feet are far forwards and close together, but when I ride something small like a Kujira 980 I naturally use more of a surfing stance.

      Hi, this is helpful advice. I have similar setup with. Gong 5,5 and an infinity 99 foil. Out of interest how are you attaching the foil to the board and where do you position it in the track? I’m struggling to stop the front of the board from diving when picking up speed... Many thanks Gerry
