This is the best you’ve looked so far. You’re standing and holding the wing correctly. If you have a strong gust, all you need is to put the wing out in front of you and do a few pulls. After each pull, raise your arms up, let the wing back out, and scoop the wind with your wing. This circular motion gives you lift AND forward momentum AND activates the front foil. Once up on foil, ease out on your back hand so you don’t go screaming forward, then turn upwind while slowly pulling back in with your back hand.

With the cwc 8m and as much wind as there seems to be you can just sheet in and fly off with a beginner foil (2000cm2 or so). As other posters said the pumping motion you are doing - back and forth in front of you on a straight line - is counter-productive. The cwc is a very powerful wing, just sheet it in by pulling on the back hand, feel the power and put slight pressure on back foot. When nose comes up, put pressure on front to level the board out so you dont stall - and continue to get power from the wing.

Thank you that’s quite helpful, and when you talk about the backhand I actually felt it to. 🙏🏄🏼‍♂️

almost there ! success ! I have seen your mast in the air for few seconds, congratulations. I would try to go up wind by moving the wing to the rear of the board, this is a purely theoritical guess...

Use a circular motion for pumping the wing. Not just in and out. Lots of videos on pumping on TH-cam.

    So close comrade!
Perhaps more wing handling and wing pumping practice on the land would be helpful. To practice muscle memory so you don't have to consciously focus on it while managing 100 other tasks! I will be attempting again this weekend Oct 22-23. We have favorable winds forecast and I am ready! KEEP GOING!!!

@@flyingfootage I did not have success last weekend but will try again this coming weekend. 15-21 knots! I think I had my foil set too far back.

@@jeromesurffoil7033 At least you are out they on the water 😎 I have been waiting almost 2 months now for proper wind

You are going too much with the wind. That is why you are not flying. You have big wing and the wind in strong enough. You should go with a wind just for a moment to get speed and pump and then to change direction to cross wind.
