scriptures to perfection.
He is sometimes regarded as having an electric
brain for his ability to trace flawlessly quotations from these books.
In this video , he exhibited that raw talent by quoting directly from the bible in defence
of the prohibition pork in the Bible.
The christian who came to ask a question in this regard
was startled at the precision of his explanation.
I reacted to this at intervals within the video stretching out areas i feel Dr. Naik didn't
touch and of course offering my opinion about the consumption of pork visa viz the

Pork is the most widely eaten and one of the healthiest meats there are. You can also make the argument that eating pork helps you to work harder and makes you more intelligent because these attributes are not found among Muslims.

The quran never mentioned about why you shouldn’t eat pork. This is a decree by Allah just like Allah decreed that Adam shouldn’t eat the apple. Who are we to challenge Allah of what he has decreed and to question him. It got nothing to do with whatever the consequences maybe if you do, its just his law and we as rhe servant has to obey to the best if our ability.

My personal understanding of "Tooth for a tooth" is that it's meant to challenge human justice. If you have to take revenge then, it must be in equal proportion, which is almost humanly impossible. Therefore, it's a way to dissuade us from revenge but admonishment for compassion.
"Tooth for tooth" is talking about punishment for being a false witness against someone. It means you should receive the same punishment as what they would have received.
Having seen other TH-cam channels like FTD (Leroy’s channel), I find OpenMinded Thinker the most authentic among all the TH-cam Channels using Islam as stepping stone to learn about our beautiful Religion. Unless you speak Aramaic, Latin and Greek, then the Bible you're reading has almost certainly been altered.
The ancient Hebrews rewrote their scriptures many times. Editors spliced older versions together, cut things out they didn’t like, added bits here and there.
The Bible is an extremely messy document, and there’s still no single version of it. There are two different Hebrew canons and eleven different Christian canons.
In a very real sense, the Bible can be looked at as one enormous alteration after another, like a coat patched and repatched so often that in many places it’s impossible to tell what’s original and what’s not.
That said, by the time we get to the 4th century CE or so, there’s a pretty clear picture of what the Christian and Hebrew Bibles are, even if different groups disagree about whether to include certain books and what order they should be in. Keep in mind, back in the days of the ancient Hebrew kings of Israel and Judah, there was no Bible. There were just various scrolls which were considered sacred, many of which are now utterly lost, and the priests at Jerusalem might use one set of scrolls and the priests at Sechem or wherever would use some other set. Sure, there was overlap, but there was no universal standard.
Even at the time of the original Christians, the situation was still fluid. For instance, they were heavily into the Enochian scriptures, which only survive now in the Ethiopian canon. And the author of the Gospel of Matthew cites scripture from his day that is so obscure now that we don’t even know what its title was, much less what was in it except that one quote. In the second century, there were raging arguments among Christian patriarchs over which books were scripture and which books were heresy. Jude almost didn’t make it into the New Testament because it cites 2 Esdras which was rejected.
The earliest known to us is codex Sinaiticus, a product of the fourth century of the modern era and for a Roman Emperor. It contains some 25,000 (!) alterations, including changing Chrest to Christ (by scratching the eta); two of its Books were later expunged.

اور ہم نے آسمان کو ایک محفوظ چھت بنایا مگر یہ ہیں کہ اس کی ( کائنات میں پھیلی ہوئی) نشانیوں سے اعراض کیے ہوئے ہیں ۔
یہ حفاظتی چھت کیا ہے اور یہ کس کی حفاظت کرتا ہے ؟
مولانا عبد الماجد دریابادی اور مولانا وحید الدین خان رحمہما اللہ نے اس آیہ کی تفسیر کی ہے یا نہیں ، مجھے معلوم نہین ۔ مولانا مودودی رحمہ نے صرف اس آیہ کا ترجمہ کیا ہے ۔ اس کی کوئی تفسیر نہیں کی ہے ۔ کیا اس آیہ کی تفسیر کی ضرورت نہیں ہے ؟

یہاں آسمان بہت وسیع معنی میں استعمال کیا گیا ہے ۔ اس بارے جدید خلائی تحقیقات کے مطالعہ سے یہ سمجھ میں آتا ہے کہ آسمان سے مراد وہ کائنات ہے جس کا مطالعہ اور تحقیق جدید ماہرین فلکیات کرسکے ہیں جسے وہ ( Observable universe ) کہتے ہیں ۔

حفاظتی چھت اس میں پائے جانے والے Magnetic fields ہیں جو پورے آسمان

میں ایک جال کی طرح پھیلے ہوئے اور اسے ایک چادر کی طرح ڈھانکے ہوئے ہیں ۔ یہ پوری کہکشان ( Glaxy) کا احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہیں ۔ ہماری زمین نظام شمسی کا ایک چھوٹا سیارہ ہے اور پوری کائنات حجم کے اعتبار سے اس کی حالت بڑی قابل رحم ہے !

اب یہاں یہ سوال پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ یہ میگنیٹک فیلڈز کس چیز سے زمین پر ہماری حفاظت کرتے ہیں؟ یہ سماوی نظام خلائی حملوں سے ہماری حفاظت کرتا ہے ۔ سورج سے بہت بڑی مقدار میں نیوکلر چارج شدہ ذرات ( CMEs) پر مشتمل شمسی طوفان نکل کر لاکھوں میل فی گھنٹہ کی رفتار سے زمین کی طرف بڑھتا ہے لیکن زمین سے ٣٥٠٠٠ ہزار میل کی دوری پر یہ حفاظتی چھت اسے Deflect کردیتی ہے یعنی یہ مہلک طوفان اس سے ٹکراکر زمین کی طرف رخ کرنے کے بجائے دوسری طرف مڑ جاتا ہے ۔ اللہ جل شانہ نے اس آسمان میں ایسے انتظامات کر رکھے ہیں جن سے زمین پر انسان کی زندگی کی حفاظت ہوتی ہے ۔ یہ انتہائی مہلک Atomic Charged Particles اگر براہ راست زمین سے ٹکراجائیں تو زمین سے انسان کا نام و نشان مٹ جائے ۔ یہ سورج کی زہریلی گیسوں ، شعاعوں (Rediations ) اور شمسی طوفان اور دیگر خلائی حملوں سے ہماری حفاظت کرتے ہیں ۔
یہ وہ سقف محفوظ (حفاظتی چھت) ہے جسے اللہ قادر مطلق نے اپنے بے پایاں رحم و کرم سے ہماری حفاظت کے لیے بنایا ہے ۔ اس حفاظتی نظام کے تحت اوزون پرتیں ( Layers) بھی آتی ہیں ۔ یہ زمین سے تقریبا ١٠ کیلومیٹر كى بلندی سے شروع ہوکر پچاس کلومیٹر کی بلندی تک پھیلی یوئی ہیں جو سورج سے نکلنے والی خطرناک شعاعوں کو زمین تک پہنچنے سے روکتی ہیں ۔ اوزون ایک زہریلی گیس ہے لیکن اوپری فضا میں اس کی موجودگی ماورائے بنفشی خطرناک شعاعوں (Ultra Voilet Radiation) سے ہماری حفاظت کرتی ہے ۔ ان شعاعوں کی زمین تک پہنچنے کی صورت میں مختلف قسم کے خطرناک امراض پیدا ہوسکتے ہیں اور روئے زمین سے زندگی ناپید ہوسکتی ہے ۔
قرآن کریم میں اللہ قادر مطلق نے اس مکمل حفاظتی نظام کو مندرجہ بالا ایہ کریمہ مین آج سے تقریبا 1500 سال پہلے بیان کیا ہے ۔
آج سے تقریبا ڈیڑھ ہزار سال پہلے اس مخفی حقیقت کو کون بیان کرسکتا ہے جبکہ اس وقت ٹیلسکوپ ایجاد نہیں ہوا تھا اور بغیر جدید ترقی یافتہ ٹیلیسکوپ کے اس انتہائی باریک اور غیر مرئی حفاظتی نظام کا مشاہدہ نہیں کیا جاسکتا ہے ؟! ماہرین فلکیات کو اس کا علم بیسویں صدی کے آخر میں ہوا ۔
ہمیں اللہ جل شانہ کی اس عظیم نعمت اور عطیہ کا احسانمند اور شکر گزار ہونا چاہیے ۔
لیکن اس کے برخلاف انسان کائنات میں پھیلی ہوئی نشانیوں سے منہ پھیر کر اللہ قادر مطلق کی ذات کا انکار کرتا ہے ۔ یہ احسان شناسی اور شکر کے خلاف ہے ۔ جو سائنسداں ایک خالق اور مبدع کائنات کا انکار کرتے ہیں ، ان کے لیے سائنسی بنیاد پر اس کا کوئی جواز نہیں ہے ۔

The Islamic position is problematic because Pork was only one of many foods considered unclean in the Torah, therefore it seems Muhammad simply chose to prohibit the one he knew of or was commonly known and we know Muhammad ate other meats which were also prohibited equally to pork.
Secondly Muslims like Zakir Naik like to claim that Jesus preached that all the Law including dietary laws are still in place, which actually contradicts the Quran itself.

Hadith on Tashabbuh (Copy Cat or Imitation): Whoever imitates a people is one of them. Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 403, sahih.
So if you copy or follow the Jewish and Biblical teachings that actually makes you jewish and christian.
Referring "Islamic Laws" or Sharia Law there is a total "disconnection" between the Quran and Sharia Law or Islamic Law. There is absolutely no connection between the Quran and theIslamic Law. To begin with lets take a simple 10 items which are considered part of Islam but are not found in the Quran at all :
1. the 5 daily prayers 2. the Allahu akbar 3. the shahada 4. the azzan (call to prayer) 5. the pilgrimage to Mecca 6. the 'month' called ramadhan (ramadhan means heat, drought) 7. stoning adulterers to death 8. killing apostates and the entire sharia laws 9. your beard, your skull cap and long robe 10. the Muslim sisters' headcover or hijab.
All these are not from the Quran. The details of pilgrimage eg are certainly not found in the Quran. For example what or where exactly is Mash'iril Haram which is mentioned in the Quran?
Another example : The Quran says that after divorcing women you SHOULD NOT TELL THEM TO LEAVE YOUR HOUSE. YOUR DIVORCED WIFE CAN CONTINUE STAYING IN YOUR HOUSE FOR AS LONG AS SHE LIKES. This is completely contradictory to the hadith and the sharia laws which says the divorced woman must leave the house.
All the sharia laws are different from the Quran. This is a point of accuracy. There is no stoning the adulterer to death and there is no killing of the apostate in the Quran.
However the Sharia laws are copied from the Jewish and Christian Bible (Old Testament). For example the Muslim sister's headcover (hijab) is from the Book of Corinthians in the Bible (example Mother Theresa). Also the orthodox Jewish women wear hijab and burqa. The white skull cap worn by Muslim men is the Jewish kippah, the beard and robe are also from the Old Testament. Stoning the adulterers to death, killing the apostates are all from the Old Testament of the Bible. Allahuakbar (god is great) is from the Book of Psalms. Circumcision of the boys is from the Book of Genesis. ALL THESE ARE NOT FOUND IN THE QURAN. "Islam" has imported all these biblical teachings through the hadith, fiqh, ijma etc. They are NOT from the Quran.
ALL this and more are not in the Quran. Even the Assalamu-alaykum is not in the Quran. In the Quran, it quotes Abraham saying Salamun. Not Assalamu-alaykum. In Sura 6:54 the Quran says 'Say Salamun Alaykum'. It is different from assalamu-alaykum. Ashalom alaykum is Jwish. And wa-alaykum shalom is definitely Jewish too.
The point is there is a disconnection between the Quran and the 'Islam' that you accept and practise. There is absolutely no connection. The entire non-Quranic Islam is copied from the Jews and the Christians.
In the Quran, the Rasul taught us:
Sura 2:120 Neither the Jews, nor the Christians, will accept you, unless you follow their religion. Say, "Allah's guidance is the true guidance." If you acquiesce to their wishes, despite the knowledge you have received, you will find no ally or supporter to help you against Allah.
Sura 3:100 "O you who believe, if you obey some of those who received the scripture, they will revert you, after having believed, into disbelievers."
Rasulullah told us that if you follow the Jews, Christians, the Bible and the people of the book, you will become a disbeliever. This is what the Rasul taught us in the Quran.
The final question again : What is the connection between the Quran and Islam? Or between the Quran and the so called Islamic or Sharia Law ? There is no connection. But there is a lot of connection between Islam, Sharia Law and the Jewish/Christian Bible (the Old Testament).

And there is no azzan (the Muslim call to prayer) mentioned or detailed in the Quran. So where does the 5 times daily prayer come from and where does the azzan (call to prayer) come from? The answer is again : from the Jews.

You can see the close similarities in the Jewish prayer and the Jewish azzan. Judaism is more than 4000 years old. Islam is about 1400 years old.
Here is something more about the hadith - the hadith claims to record the smallest details about the Rasul's life, even the way he ate, slept, bathed, went to the toilet, walked, talked, preached etc. However 570 of the Rasul's Friday khutbah are missing. Since the hijra from Mecca to Medinah around 621 AD until his death in 632 AD there were over 570 Fridays. Other than TWO DIFFERENT versions of his first Friday khutbah delivered at Masjid Jumaa and the last khutbah sermon (which maybe was not even on a Friday) there is no record of the remaining 570 khutbah of the Rasul which should have been heard by tens of thousands of people (mutawat-tir).
So where are those more than 570 missing Friday khutbah of the Rasulullah? Why arent they recorded anywhere? If thousands of people heard them why are they not recorded anywhere?
