Been waiting for this video, I work at Rainbow and I remember seeing the build sheet for this trailer, wondered if it was the same Jay Siemens I'd seen on youtube. Thanks for footage, it's nice to see it in action. Hope it serves ya well. Also that flooring is called quad floor, and the roof is fiberglass.
I put outdoor carpet in the bottom of the box, things don't bounce and rattle around as much for the most part. Works Really Well. Just an FYI for anyone getting a monster box don't let the lid slam shut. The rivets for the latch over time become loose and it makes it a pain in the butt to open and close your box after that. Great Video once again!
Add a floor jack to your trailer. You have room. You’ll thank me if you ever get a flat tire. Fluid Film on the lug nuts and all hinges will help a lot with rust and corrosion. A 4-way and good cordless impact gun with the correct socket attached.
Added a small 8" tall strip of diamond guard along the top of my ramps on my Rainbow trailer. That edge gets really beat up because it touches the ground when you put the ramp down. even with those rubber stoppers.
Suggestion from a fellow Canadian, if you plan on keeping the trailer I would invest in spraying line-x or armaguard on the front of the trailer and you'll never have to worry about rocks or anything ever edit: and make sure it gets topcoated with clear so it looks brand new forever
The best upgrade is invest in really good locks, I have had standard locks cut off trailers numerous times with bolt cutters. judging by the equipment you store in there it's worth the investment. purchase stainless steel puck style locks. Well worth the money. Beautiful trailer, ill be working on my Ice fishing set up this summer when my new toy finally arrives!!
im envious of your trailer!! i would be tempted to add a tiny bed and a diesel heater. even just a diesel heater just for drying gear/sled would be nice. im wondering about moisture and bare plywood walls, might want to paint'em..? iunno
I put some rod holders on the wall of my trailer. Nice to have some extra options other than the ones on the sled. I also keep a tool box in my trailer that has come in handy many times. Love the videos Jay. I would love to fish with you one day.
Jay, keep an extra battery in the trailer. You never know when a gene or power source will fail. I always keep an extra battery in my rig as a back up.
Just watched a Canadian Angle Show (REEL LIFE) THATwith your boat. Had to be pretty recent because your boat had the new floor. Jay's Jigs.... Excellent Show
Another banger as usual! Amazing setup and I wish I could have the same equipment as you for my TH-cam channel…but I have learned to make due with what I have. Love the videos! Keep it up! ❤
They say comparison is the thief of joy. But damn looking at this set up is amazing. Is there room for your sled and both the 2800 and your other flip over?
Would be cool if you sold lure packages related to areas like northern Ontario for example. It'd have what you (jay) normally use for Walleye, lakers, perch, pike (maybe a lure for catching bait fish like cisco) for example. I spend a good amount of time looking for recommended lures for the area I fish and they can be super tough to find or ridiculously over priced. Sweet vid btw, ill invest in a similar setup one of these days:p
I am curious about the floor in the trailer. I have similar trailer but the carbides and studs are hard on the plywood. Is yours made for carbides? What is the product called? Thanks
When the BearCat is ready to retire(arguably is)you should check out a Skandic! Not that Arctic Cat makes a bad sled it's just Ski Doo is and probably always will be The Goat.
Jay u should always put a couple straps on the equipment.. I'd hate to see that sled slid threw the front of that trailer. I'll that being said looks good love the videos.

Thanks for building such a great trailer!!
@@JaySiemens Thanks man, I'll pass it on to the rest of the crew.
Really nice trailer...great base of operations...in a pinch u could sleep In it....
Yup, I worked on building that trailer as well . Very cool to see our work being promoted on here.
Hi dad 🤪
Thank you! Beautiful work!

Jay, I'm so happy you get to do this for a living, and provide great content for the rest of us!
Milwuakee packouts are amazing for customizing trailers. Lots of different options to choose from.

Absolutely right great advice

My wife surprised me and ordered 3 catch cook spices for my birthday yesterday!! Can’t wait to use them!!! Greetings Rouses Point NY!!!
Nice! Hope you like it!
Live just across the border, Rainbow trailers are very well built top notch, first trailers that had tilt beds I believe
Now get ahold of Caliber for the floor protection. It’s amazing the quality and it protects your investment. Great vid as usual

Another great one Jay!
Check out the new lakemaster chips. You may find you don't need to have both a Lowrance and Humminbird on your sled any longer.
Why not drill another hole? Hassle moving the ducer ?

You should add a composting toilet to the trailer...
Would definitely get a set of rock tamer mud flaps ,so you dont get that fancy trailer dinged up or full of slush
Yup!

Are you not allowed to keep tulibees from lake of the woods ? Cuz we used to catch lots there for fun.
Not too bad buddy!! Great trailer!!
Thanks!
Never seem to find them dinner bells in Dryden
jay what length summit pole are you running?
I am curious about the floor in the trailer. I have similar trailer but the carbides and studs are hard on the plywood. Is yours made for carbides? What is the product called? Thanks
Nice!
What is your MPG pulling that thing? Greetings from Europe.
add a small diesel heater
Nice
Jay it is time for a new ski doo up grade👍👍👍👍👍
It’s coming !!
I’m by Logan Meinholz right now
Where did you get your telescopic rod for your transducer
so a sled tunnel has a 25lb weight limit, how much weight is on yours?
Is that a 3/4 ton GMC ? And can you pull your trailer with a 1/2 ton? And love your videos been watching for years
Yup! correct. Thanks for watching!
How come when I set my ducer to stun I stop marking fish on bottom...
Could you fit 2 snowmobiles in that trailer?
Yup! And gear!
Thanks for the response! Awsome videos!
You need some basic tools in the trailer for your sled and truck
😁🐟
❤️👊💪🎣
😎😎
diesel heater
Should put solar power on it
Maybe one day!
Bear Cat..... people still buy arctic cat?
When the BearCat is ready to retire(arguably is)you should check out a Skandic! Not that Arctic Cat makes a bad sled it's just Ski Doo is and probably always will be The Goat.
Hey love the videos but kind of getting bored of covering up half the screen with your life scope. It's kind of turning into a video game

Channel pays good! Even in Canada !
