    Great stuff, Brett! An Otterbox is on my list of needs as well as an ArcLab mount for my handlebars for a Helix.

    I love my titan , do yourself a favor and get the HD bumper , you can fabricate a removable auger mount with the digger , pull of a pin and mine is off

      That HD bumper looks awesome! Would love to add a winch one day just in case. Thanks for watching!

      Mount the digger to 2-3” angle iron welded to some square stock for the receiver, it will be removable with a pin, and you can still utilize a winch , I dont have a winch yet I just carry a come along in case

    I have the titan 800,been a solid sled and gets worked hard the 4 stroke would not have enough power for my needs. I did order the new 650 but even then I wanted them to put an 850 in it. Had some power valve cables break and speed sensor other than that 4500 miles on it

    • @newpylong
      @newpylong 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The 4 stroke has way more low end than the 2 btw, it has plenty of nut.

    • @LiamG903
      @LiamG903 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @newpylong drove one they fall dead at 50mph, fine for putting around to the ice shack and stuff but 90hp on the big machine just doesn't cut it.

      @@newpylong if they get the turbo then that will be my next one. If they don't release it this year though I'll be jumping ship to doo for the turbo r. The titan has been a beast and sure does perform and the high mileage I put on would sure love a 4 stroke. I'm shocked they only did a 650 in the new one but let's see what they come out with this year.

      @@SpaceBandit61thanks so much man! That's awesome. Aside from the 4 U-bolts that come with the box, I only had to make one little tweak for it to attach to the rear rack and still have room for the passenger seat.... I just added about a 18" section of 2x4 (horizontally screwed into the bottom of the Monster Box) as a support for the very back where the rear rack angles downwards. Not sure if that makes sense, but if not you can email me at Brett@TargetWalleye.com and I'll send you a few pics of what I'm talking about. You can see a small glimpse of the wood at around 1:45 in the vid haha. It was supposed to be a quick little fix for extra support where the rear cargo rack dips before an ice trip, but worked well and is what I ended up using all year with no issues.

    surprised how huge that otter box is inside. like a car trunk, plenty of room for activities.

    Brett, I too, purchased a new machine last fall - Ski Doo Expedition SE 900 Turbo R. I thot I was the cause of the drought! When you are traveling with your 40V or 24V, do you always run with the batteries attached to the auger head or do you stow it for the ride? Also, how do you attach the Otter box to the sled?

    • @TargetWalleye
      @TargetWalleye  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nice! If its just a short ride between spots, I leave the battery on. First ride out in the morning, or a longer trek I stash the batteries out of the elements - or if it's a sub-zero day. And the Monster box is basically just held on with the big U-bolts that come with it. But the back rack on this sled has a downward slope in the far back, so I screwed a chunk of 2x4 onto the bottom of the Monster Box for some support so the back end of the Monster Box wouldn't sag where the rack angles down. Allowed me to mount the box further back and keep the passenger seat on.

    Enjoyed the video (3x). Looking to get a 2025 Titan. What adapter did you use to couple the Titan J-hook to the Clam Pro-Series Hitch tow bar? Rather than replace the J-hook, I like your solution, as you have pivoting in horizontal and vertical planes.

    • @royfletcher8548
      @royfletcher8548 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s the flapper hitch. Not J hook.

    • @TargetWalleye
      @TargetWalleye  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I swapped out the J-hook for Polaris's OEM flapper hitch. It just works so well with that Pro-Series Hitch 👍

    Would you be willing to send some pictures or explain how you mounted the monster box? I am buying this exact sled next week from Mies and am curious how you mounted the box. Also how that auger mounting location worked for you. I did the exact same mounting location and mount last year and the constant wobbling cracked the bumper on my 2022 Voyager.

    • @TargetWalleye
      @TargetWalleye  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just sent you an email with a quick pic from underneath, hope it helps. Long story short: I just added a chunk of 2x4 for some support so the far back end of the Monster Box wouldn't sag where the rack angles down. Otherwise it's just held on with the big U-bolts that come with the Monster Box, but that little "spacer" allowed me to mount the box and keep the passenger seat on. My auger mountset-up held up great on the bumper. Bummer to hear you had issues!
