There are 3. Just look at the new mirror cap, and you can tell where the clips are. Do not remove the mirror glass. Just angle a light in the back behind the mirror and you can hit the clips without removing the mirror glass.
and also I think is possible to knock the mirror cap out through the gap? just like the F8X series without pull out the mirror glass which is risky to brake
headache is that LHD and RHD have different mirror caps and indicators right? mainly different locations for the clips, need to wait for ever to get these
I know I’m not the only one but I have carbon fiber parts on my car and I’d love to know the weight differences once the car is done compared to when it was stock, it might not be much but I’m curious as to what the weight difference is just bc it would be fun to know 🤙
If you’re ADDING them to the car, no matter how light they are, they add weight. As far as mirror caps and lip spoilers go, my carbon was heavier than the thin OEM plastic lol
