the s58 engine is a masterpieace but all the plastic parts are making me go crazy the plastic turbo inlet pipe god damn do they know how hot turbo gets.

On your dynograph, why are your torque and bhp lines wavey, where the stock cars lines are flat and smooth with no steps ? Can you feel this stepped power in the cars performance ?

In South Africa many guys run big power on stock blocks but never reveal the true reliability of this... Few years ago N55s will run around with 320kw on the wheels and be somewhat reliable or thats what people say???
This will sound a bit mad and probably get down-voted, but can you do a detune map for fuel economy, alongside the performance mapping i.e. an eco mode? 80% of most people's driving is cruising. I imagine an Eventuri intake with miserly fuel usage could be effective for extending range, for long trips.
It'll be close to the time they're running. 99 ron is equivalent to about 94 octane here in the US. So 93 octane with a small amount of octane booster will be more than enough to get you to this time, if not better.

I am getting the G87 M2 with 6-speed manual. I would like to do a mild tune, maybe max 500 WHP. Anything more and it would be insane for a real wheel drive car. What do you guys recommend?
Sounds sensible, M4 CSL style tune is probably what we’ll be aiming for. We can tailor it for whatever power you’re after really, change torque curves for better drivability etc

It does, and an E40 tune is a great way to get easily in to a 9s 1/4 mile, but here in the U.K. that means ordering cans and storing your own fuel.
France has nice roads but too many speed traps..

This was in dyno spec, take the spacers off so the car doesn’t rub under full load with the car strapped down!

CS/CSL is great but if chasing .1s then XHP has a lot more customisation

We’ve personally stress tested these Eventuri inlets with no issue.

That’s a setup we’ll revisit at a later date, for now we are focusing on absolute power.

We already know the rods are as weak as the F90 ones. Others can break the engines. We will upgrade well before that.
The torque went from 435 ft-lbs to 645, that’s about 210 more, not 153, right?
Would love to see this against the Tom Wrigley car Matt was driving on Carwow. That was a 10.2 1/4mile car so I think yours has it beat.

The OEMs focus so much on this that there isn’t really anything to gain.
You can do the 320d mod.
You take it in to your local dealer and they'll even give you some money back!!
What boost pressure is the car running? A lot of people saying the charge cooler splits above 30psi, is this really the case?
The charge cooler has been found to be a weak point, but this setup is perfectly safe for standard charge cooler as shown with all our testing.
UK fuel is 99 RON which is marginally more than most us 93. It’s just over 94 us equivalent
Yes, we have achieved the same on 93 Octane, it’s just a little harder 😅

We haven’t, not sure any M4 CSL owners have unlocked their ECU yet! Power results would be the same, but being RWD the 1/4 mile would be much slower

TESCO MOMENTUM 99 is the daddy, ESSO 99 is dead fuel. This car with the white wheels is the daddy.
We do a lot of testing and currently we have found Esso 99 to be the most consistent.
No need to build the engine yet....it will hold 900+whp
Don't need most of that crap they are trying to sell to get into the 9 sec range...
