Literally sold me on the ethanol content reader feature. I hate aftermarket gauges. But i love how clean and subtle this is. Whenever i mod my g80 definitely on the parts list.

I had the P3 in my RS3 and loved it! It also made little difference to the air flow coming out so don't let that dissuade you. I am thinking this one over, I bought the CF piece that Kies is using and it's awesome.
That gauge setup is really sweet. I just wish it didn't have a 1980s LCD calculator display.

Will the P3 gauge fit in a 2023 G80 M3 with the LCI dash? I'm not sure if the vent itself is different from 21-22 models.

At 2:35, those two connections to the vent, could a phone charger/magsafe charger tap into those for power to a phone mount on that side of the steering wheel?

Also had a question, will you by chance be doing a subwoofer and/ or amp upgrade in the G80 as well to the HK system? I have been looking into the bimmertech setup and seen your video and other videos on various models but nothing on the G80. I am wondering because I do not dabble with my newer cars too often and I am doing research while I impatiently wait for my G80 M3CX to come in. I am sure I will be pushed to 2023 model with iD8 which is fine but I am not sure if that makes a difference. Thank you for all the G80 content!
A fail if one lived in Texas. Must have that AC vent in the summer.
You'd be surprised how much air still flows through the opening!
These actually do still retain the vent functionality!

great video. Only issue is now my alarm goes off when i lock the car? it is a G20 M340. I assume similar if not the same to the g80? any way to disable? did you have this issue?
You can decode OBD Alarm with BimmerCode than it should be fine
So how durable is this thing when pumping heat through the vents on near zero mornings and nights, AC not so worried but direct heat & electronics not good.
We actually all run P3 gauges on our cars here at Kies and we haven't seen any issues regarding the heat. Having the ability to retain the functionality of the vent is another aspect to what makes these gauges so great

If I am only interested in the carbon fiber trim piece, can I attach it without having to remove the vent assembly from the dash?
Yea you definitely can, he only removed the dash to do that vent gauge.
Works it also in EU Cars , with the correct Display of Km/h, degrees in celsius and so on ?
