Thank you for your excellent review. I'll be addressing the questions to help everyone out. Regarding your preference for a flat-bottom tamper, our threaded base design was developed with the general consumer in mind. However, I will certainly pass your feedback on to our R&D team. Here’s a breakdown of the differences between the two designs, which I hope will be helpful:
    - Flat Bottom: Enhances concentration and increases balance.
    - Threaded: Promotes concentric extraction, optimizes selection, and enhances coffee flavor extraction.
BTW, the tamper discount can be combined with our new product discounts. Go check it out and see how much you can save-I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised, lol! 🥳🥳

Threaded/ripple response: "promotes concentric extraction, optimizes selection, and enhances coffee flavor extraction" COME ON...LOLOLOL....Maybe some people are stupid and fall for this..Maybe even most...But you are delusional if you think its true!!!!! Here is more. "Flat bottom; enhances concentration and increases balance". Your scientific "theories" are almost as bad as some others. I am sure you have run the numbers on your .0000 precision meters and measures and you see a .0001 difference, and there is your data science BS. Dont get me wrong guys, We love some of the products. Just relax on your ideas of why things are the way they are. The ripple is a PROBLEM just as Jack mentioned. I hate it, as I get grinds stuck to it, and makes a mess, and cant wait to get rid of mine. I have seen some that screw off and you can swap to a flat. If done right, this would be a solid option.

Sometimes, Chinese knockoffs can have some minor issues. They often manage to replicate about 80% of the product, but the finer details might be lacking, and they may not fully understand the reasons behind the design. I’ve bought three Chinese-made blind shakers, but unfortunately, none of them worked well for me. One had a hook in the middle axis that caused larger grinds to get stuck, another was supposed to be compatible with 51/54/58mm but had a hole that was too small, causing the grinds to pile up in the portafilter. The last one was almost an exact replica of the WW shaker and was more expensive, but all of them had retention issues. In the end, I got the original WW shaker, which has a coating to prevent retention problems, and I’ve been enjoying using it ever since

You know what? Most Chinese brands have stopped making flat base tampers because most casual users in China prefer the ripple or waffle pattern simply for its appearance. They don't know much about extraction and think these patterns are more 'special,' so they tend to buy them.

@@mycoffeeshow111 YEs, I think so, but the variable vs variable with only size difference DLC burrs will help understand IF any difference is in the cup with size and design. Then build quality. How precise are they made so after cleaning them you assemble and how close it is to the setting before if you can pull a shot and still holding position. Because the 64v can be found around 450-550, the 83v can be found 600-800. The price is not a huge difference. But the question ...Is it worth it? and why?
Also, the 83 burr upgrade is so expensive, I would not do it. I rather just stick to 1 set of good burrs for espresso, as I dont like to mess around so much. But 64v if the taste is significantly better with SPP: MP, HU, LABSweet, etc then the price to upgrade over time is not bad. Or are these 2 sizes so different tasting that its hard to compare?
