Not sure what you mean by calibrated. The Bravo doesn't click to let you know it's applied a certain amount of pressure but it doesn't need too. Depressing it until it will go no further is the point at which it is applying whatever force the spring is set to. Once you are at that point you can't go any further and apply more pressure even if you wanted too. It's a beautiful design which will work without any changes and apply equal pressure to a 12g dose in an 18g basket or 20g dose in the same 18g basket.
Actually for Bravo, the pressure could be adjusted by the screw-in depth, there is one in side the handle main shaft, and another one underneath the screw-plate on top of the handle. By adjusting the depth of both screws the travel distance can be changed, and that could change the final pressure imposed by the spring. It is actually a better design and more flexible, plus it doesn't 'vibrate' as much, at the end of the tamp, as the Force Tamper.
Greate and informative.Thaks. One note though, the force tamper sounds different from the rest due to the fact that it's tamping mechanism works differently then the other two: It has an impact mechanism that allows you to tamp with less effort.the sound is actually the tamping base being released at once sending 4-30 kg hit impact. With the other tampers the release mechanism is used like a torque wrench preventing from you to press harder than the weight you have set it.
HI All I have some hand/shoulder issues which makes it uncomfortable to use my Normcore tamper. Seems like the Force Tamper is zero force? Is the 3Bomber close to zero force or more like the Normcore?
Hai, Did you adjust the depth of tamper for 3Bomber. If not mistaken when turn the handle can adjust the depth surface of tamper to puck. Did you adjust it?
which would you pick the Bravo or the force. I am ordering was planning on getting the force. last time I looked at bravo they were sold out. the popular tools you show case are sold out alot . I've looked for some with the same problem. I did successfully order the IMS Big Bang precision filter basket I got the h25.5 I was not sure if I should get that one or h27.5 which is 18 -23 grams of coffee.. and I ordered a IMS Precision shower screen. & spray mist bottle. I got the Breville smart pro grinder for now as I'm not sure which to get . I see the ones on your videos . also would like to upgrade to a 58mm or should I ?
I still don't know how, besides the auditory feedback, the actual mechanism itself on the mhw-3bomber compares to the force tamper. From my limited research, it seems like, mechanistically, it's more like the Normcore, but with the added click.
Got it and love it. Massively improved the consistency of my shot. They now come with a 15 pound spring if you and to change it to 15 pounds from 30

You said it yourself, the spring is a set rate and thus calibrated.
It´s amazing how you always have the videos i´m looking for, lol, thanks.
Get the MHW-3Bomber Cyclone WDT! Its hellava fun to use!

I start to think that Hoon reads our minds and make the reviews 😅 I have checking that tamper last week

Hey Hoon, how do you like that Pseudo gravity distributor?

Good morning from Thailand. Did you Test the MHW Bomber Grinder Sniper? Maybe you can Test the Grinder?
Greetings Martin

You do have good point!
Thx. Just got one
Thanks for showing toys ,new be is i.
I think most of these tools you are paying for the fit and finish. My Eazytamper is similar to the Bravo.
Its 58.35 mm and not 58.5/58.55mm is the reason i would not consider it.
I have no "donut" soaking issue with it.
.35mm is not bad since it will not have vacuum effect e.g. pulling out few powder of fines upward after tamping
