Jacob.. started watching your channel 8 years ago. Great content. Three years now in SW Henderson/Anthem. Love it here! Abundant sunshine is the best! Wishing you much happiness, success and prosperity in 2025!
Recently Moved to Henderson from the Atlanta area. Really love it here so far and other than gas prices things are cheaper than I expected especially for grocerys.
@0:24 I recognize that hike! That is one of the cooler things about Vegas is if you just want a modest hike, you don't have to go far. Nice drone shot.
Jacob you do a great job covering all of Las Vegas (not just the casinos). I've been looking at Vegas as a possible place to retire given it has an international airport and great restaurants not to mention a lower cost of living than Los Angeles. Happy New Year and look forward to all of your videos.
Thank you Jacob ! I live in Rancho Cucamonga and love the Vegas vibes , when I’m done with school in about 1-2 years …I’m planning on moving out there !
I really appreciate all of your videos. I'm a San Jose native but have been in the Palm Springs area for 20 years and I'm retiring very soon and looking to relocate as soon as my home sells in the Coachella Valley. We are looking for a one year rental before buyingso that we get to know the area.
Hopefully by this coming mid January, my wife and I will be able to close the last house in a neighborhood by Centennial Hills in the Northwest. We really like the elevation and the quietness around. Hopefully we'll start the new year with a new home 🎉
We have friends that live off lone Mountain. Nice little cul-de-sac built a new home several years ago. Actually I think 2019. I love that area. It’s really central to so many places.
I didn’t think you’d cover Boulder City. There are some BC streets you could drive down that are “any town USA.” You would not think you’re in Nevada. Great vlog Jacob. 👍🏾
You're welcome Jim! There's no shortage of retirees in the Vegas Valley with various levels of retirement income. When that time gets closer, definitely reach out and you'll have small team of people help develop a full game plan based on your situation and what's important to you.
@ 17 years ago, I’ve lived in Spring Valley near Russell and 215 then later move to enterprise near Mountain edge now Silverado Ranch area near Henderson🥰less crowded
I live in Silverado Ranch area and the main disadvantage is there is no Good Chinese and Dimsum Restaurants 😭 I have to go to Rainbow or Spring Mountain 🥺
Jacob. North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City are not neighborhoods in Las Vegas. Great video. I would love to see a video of great neighborhoods in just Las Vegas.
Lived in Silverado ranch when I moved here in 2012, then centennial hills and now Summerlin. The home price premium of being in Summerlin is worth it, imo. But honestly Every hood here is kind of the same version of an extended strip mall.
It REALLY depends on your personal lifestyle preferences and budget. When that time gets closer, definitely reach out and you'll have small team of people help develop a full game plan based on your situation and what's important to you.
Holly Wood, area is great, but sunrise manor drive is horrible, If Nellis Airforce base would just let one street go through you would have a straight shot to the 215 near speedway.
Where were you 40 years ago,was really thinking of moving there, but a better job was offered where I live, now am retired have no urge to move there,I live where we have 4 seasons, and live way longer than out there. Also only now go to vegas for the shows.
I lived in henderson back in 2017-2018 i miss vegas im planning on moving back in two years. If you ever need any services for your vehicle pass by firestone located in horizon ridge parkway the store manager is Gerry i use to work there as a service writer. Tell him Ricky that worked for you sent you there he will take good care of you.
i struggle to find the point of living in vegas. the strip is just surrounded by homes and neighborhoods. go on google maps and see for yourself. where do these people work? they cant all work on the strip. its a strange city.
Great video and I am so proud of this man. We Couldn’t ask for a better representative of our communities in Clark County! I’m home owner here now so a video like this could be helpful for the potential people who are looking to relocate and buy a home! Thanks again and I look forward to buying you a beer if I see you around ! Peace ✌🏼
My daughter moved to Vegas in June because her husband got an excellent job a year ago. I’m not gonna say where. She did her research and she got into the best school the best area which I’m also not going to comment on but just let you know there are great places in Vegas to live with great schools. Do your research if you plan on moving
This video seems like an advertisement. From my personal dealings with Laci is that she's hunting for a commission and not interested in the best home for me.
@ I don’t like what I saw last summer during the worst heat ever. No compassion for the people without vehicle. A person was kicked out of a fast food restaurant because just wanted to cool off and not purchase anything. A person was denied the bus when it was 120 because was short on fare money. Meanwhile over 400 died from the heat and that’s probably part of the reason. Turn on the national news very little if anything said about the heat let alone all the casualties.
@@rtyughvbn12 true that’s why I plan on moving to New England. Besides my wife and daughter work on the strip and are always getting sick especially in winter. Yes they take precautions but still get the flu
Vegas is criticized as “Sin City,” due to its highly successful marketing campaign, yet California is the gang capital of the world, and cities within 2,000 miles offer both strip clubs and online gambling with crime up. Oh the hypocrisy!
Gross! 🤮 Lasted in Green Valley Ranch for 18 months, oppressive heat, water made my hair fall out! No good local restaurants, everything is a freakin chain restaurant! Moved to Southern California 5 years ago and never looked back and I don’t care that I live 1200 sq ft condo! I’m looking out at Ocean Drive baby! Keep your ugly 5K sq ft box cheaply built houses with no character!

Please don’t advise other to move here. Welcome to Vegas! 🎰☀️😁
I love sumerlin, henderson, and paradise valley. But i am still stuck on north las vegas lol. I love it here.
We’re NW, more north and we love it, too!
I’m in centennial hills and love it
northwest here, very peaceful, we got everything we needs no weather disasters year- round, I been living here 25 years.👍
Skye Canyon is fantastic also. Quiet, Summerlin is a 13-14 minute drive, lots of developers building new properties around it.
Yep! That neighborhood even exist when I moved here!

Thanks Jacob, great coverage all year, Happy New Year!
You're welcome! Happy New Year to you too!
I like how he casually throws in the "armed security" at the gate lol...
I lived in Summerlin in the mid to late 90's and it was awesome! Great views of the strip from our upstairs Master Bedroom.👍👍
😎
Happy New Year Jacob‼️👋
Happy new year!
Great video with much needed content for someone looking to buy a home in Vegas
Glad it was helpful!
was looking in Summerlin, but the homes I liked the most were all seniors only. I will check out Henderson. ThNKS FOR THE INFO. SUBSCRIBED.
You're welcome! There are some reaally good neighborhoods in Henderson.
Summerlin for the win!
😎
Here enjoying Siena 55+ South Summerlin!

I do miss Winco 😅! Lol honestly the best grocery store ever!
😆
Im in a historic neighborhood on a half acre with huge trees and no association with views of all the casinos. Oakey and rancho. A gem of a area
Super amazing video
Thanks!
Very well done! I can’t wait to check out Scotch Eighties next time I’m in Vegas.
😎
You missed the best years in Vegas. Late 90's - 2007 were amazing.
If only I had been born sooner 😂
@@JacobslifeinVegas😂
By the mid 1990s Las Vegas was headed down hill ..Real Las Vegas disappeared in the 1980s , by the 1990s it became Disneyland .
Good for you?
1800s and early 1900s were amazing too I bet
This is such a well done video. Several of those areas I had no idea about.
Thanks for the city development update, Jacob! I'm thinking about retiring to the Vegas area on a teacher's pension. Is it doable?
Absolutely. Lots of affordable areas. You would like the Henderson/Green Valley area

Sunstone Trilogy. We'll be there in ealy '26 once our "vertical" is finished being built. And yes, you can use our private elevator.

Mountain’s Edge is really great!
Have @Wonderful New Year's ! / / thanks
What about Centennial Hills? We are an amazing neighborhood. Very safe pretty new affordable. I feel dissed right now.
Shhhh, you don’t want a bunch of people moving there and screwing it up
Be quiet, for gosh sakes.
Nice brown streak across the mountains. Aaahh, just like So Cal used to be. Why every house in Nevada doesn't have solar is beyond me.
Well, you missed the gem of them all. Very sad you did not mention Centennial Hills.
And Lake Las Vegas !
Great video, Thanks!
De nada!

I’m SO glad u forgot Centennial Hills we don’t want new ppl coming to our horses property area with more HOAs
😂
None of us locals want new people here 😊

Great video. I have heard most cops and firefighters. Live in Henderson. And even Boulder City. Not sure about north Vegas.
Spring Valley didn’t make the list? Or Rhodes Ranch/
I couldn't live there. NOT ENOUGH GREEN! 😂 🌲🌳🌿🍀🍃

From my understanding , Las Vegas will be losing 5% of its population in January.

Lol I bet it’s a tad more than 5%.
