People from all over the world are thoughtless, ignorant, and couldn't care less about though beautiful, well trained horses and the queens guards doing their jobs..and if I'm not mistaken, they aren't allowed to yell at the tourists anymore..I am an American and have immense respect for these guards.
Yes if they weren’t well trained there no way all those Tourists could get that close. As for those two American ladies when they get home and they have a good look at the pictures they will see about their heads the new sign that says the horse may kick or bite, and please don’t touch the Rains that why the Guard pulled the rain out of your hand.😡
He wasn't yelling at all. The Guard merely raised his voice above the crowd to tell the man to make way. The Horse encouraged the man to move slighlty faster that he would have done otherwise. The police should have threatened the idiot with obstructing The King's Guard.
The Kings Guards can and still do yell at the tourists that deserve to be yelled at. The amount of rude ignorant tourists seems to be outweighing the non rude considerate one's these days.
These people… just watching them is irritating me. Would you go to anybody else’s workplace and starting touching things and being so rude? I know you CAN touch the horse, but do you have to? And if one person kicks that can and doesn’t pick it up 😖
Finally, I heard one tourist, he was holding a child, say Thank You, to the guard, after he got his picture taken! Good job, sir! Too bad nobody else seems to have the same respect, and I've been watching these videos for a long time! What ever happened to common courtesy, and basic manners, in the world?
I like the one that had a Paddington Bear and asked the soldier if he would mind putting it on the top of the saddle for a pic, and he said no... and she was mad...
Despite what many say the Guards can still yell and charge their horses if the situation warrants it. The Guards seem to have taken the view that if just saying something and the tourist responds then fine, but if it continues they will yell and rightly so. It is simply that many just do not check out the rules, or ask or even bother to pay attention. The lack of respect and just good old fashioned manners seems to go out the window in this "All About Me" world now. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
Who’s ever responsibility it is to move the crowd behind the bollards are not doing a very good job. With that being said, I love when horse guard shout at them.
I never really comprehended how many ignorant rude and thoughtless people there are in the world. The King's Guard and their horses are GENUINE soldiers on duty; NOT actors on display for amusement. It's Whitehall NOT Disneyland! TRY TO SHOW SOME RESPECT!🤬
I wish people would be responsible for them selfsame they should learn a bit about we're they are visiting and the rules to handle yourself in a different country.
If I knew who threw that can down, I'd find out where they live and leave it in their space! Littering is an awful habit! And yes I yell at the screen too folks, you are not alone in how angry it all makes me.
As someone who has worked with horses for most of my life, I’m gobsmacked by all those people swarming around the horse and guard and 50 hands petting the horse and in general being thoughtless a-holes. Never would I allow that for many reasons and I find it odd that they let these idi*ts near the guards and horses. Total mayhem opportunities.
I think the guard was just waiting for his turn to move and scare the beejeebers out the rude cretins who don’t listen to orders. Maybe next time they will.
Those two women in the white shirts are just hoarding the time there, she even cut in front of that kid and that other woman too, she was not happy about that. You got your pictures and your petting that horse raw, move along.. lol look at her, still there, so ignorant...omg she's back, go away...
How would the spectators like it if another person came up to them and tickled and rubbed their noses and patted them on the head. I bet they would be totally affronted.😂😂😂😂
My observation is the police used to be more assertive and remain to enforce the "behind the bullards " instruction. What has changed? Your lead was the least offensive on this story. The guard was trying to get them to move to safety while he was obeying an order. He was not "asked" to ride out, he was ordered to by that nod.
Where did the idea that horses like your hand shoved in their nose come from? Or this sniffing an empty hand business. Theyre horses, not dogs. Every horse Ive been around thinks you are handing them a treat when your hand comes near their mouth. Weird.
Perhaps they never have seen a horse before or touched one. Perhaps they will never have that opportunity again. Would you deny a child that experience? My horses love to be the center of attention and receive strokes on the neck or nose. We have a daycare next door to our place, and it gives me joy to let the children have this experience. I've noticed that the soldiers and police can't resist giving the horses a pat while talking to the guards. If a horse doesn't want to be touched, it will let you know. In case anyone wonders, I have owned horses and had them on my property since the age of 13, 61 years ago. I can read their body language and know what I am talking about.
What I don’t understand is why the same person or persons keep, taking more and more photos- I saw 2 women who repeatedly kept going up for more photos. 🤷♀️
Allow the guards to yell! To back off! Get out a roping and when needed to be removed then the extras walking around can do it before the changing of the guards. I love it when the guards yell at the stupid tourists. And when the hirses toss their heads. Lol i get a kick out of some horses liking to try grabbing knapsacks or jackets lolol that's a riot!
I agree I do not know all the countries that visit .But I am from the United States and I know better then to touch a service animal with out asking first and I know enough about horse's to know that they like only one person in control.
Tourists should be told Move back behind Bollards Or you might get Kicked. If you get kicked YOU have to pay for the vet and medical bill to be sure horse and Kings Guard are ok.
People should not be allowed to touch the horses! Just let them look. And take photo's from a distant. Horses would be more relaxed that way. And so would the guards.
Geeze what's the matter with people's brain Do they think the Kings Guard and horse going to ride around them and say pretty please could you move out of our way Just makes my blood boil to se the dangerous callous way they behave Especially with their children putting them in danger holding the child next to the horse
Another suggestion: A rope fence! People - silly tourists don't have to touch the horses! They stay behind the rope. We wish the guards were more assertive.
A rope would be a risk for the horse though. Sometimes the horse is restless, or they need to move the horse for some reason other than change of guard. Besides, people who will touch the horse, it's tack, or even the guard themself, wouldn't necessarily respect a rope barrier.
@@reallylittlewhy - If they don't respect the rope barrier, they will pay a hefty fine. Jail time might be a bit much. The barrier will be at least 15 ft. from where the horse and guard are standing. This is not a huge issue to solve. Where there's a will, there's a way.
I love to see the people who think that the horses have to walk around them. Be great to see what these senseless people did if the guard didn’t shout at them 🤣

If some tourists are so scared of the horses in case they bite or even breathe on them, Why go there in the first place. They are just being added pests to the lovely animals.
Tourists are so disrespectful it makes me so irritated seeing all those people crowding around taking pictures and just being rude omg does anyone have any respect at all geeze
Crowd control seems to be a real problem here. Great for the Horse Guard for what he did. But after that when dismounting & the time came to put hand to the horses neck, why did he slap the neck so hard the whole neck shook? To me, as a horse person of over 60 years, a touch with flourish would be sufficient to let the horse know what was coming. Maybe just me, though. But haven’t seen any other horse guards do it this hard.
@@annbeirne9583 I totally agree with parts of your statement and thank you. To me, and I may be way off the mark here, the slaps are to alert the horse(s) to what is coming in order to be mentally prepared. Thus in 2 different places. I also agree the second slap s/be on the saddle fender and not the horses side. That I get & totally agree with. My problem with this particular demonstration is the strength behind the slaps. I get that he just had to go through people to do his job and that may have upset him. But that is not a real reason for this public display. But that is just me.
I did think this at the time and wondered if the Guard was a bit frustrated and didn't intend to do it so hard 😔 I bet he made it up to the horse though with a treat when I the stables because they didn't love their horses🤗👍💕
It’s no wonder the horse react they just go and on touching They don’t get the drift, that the horse will get stress out and react badly. Please take care.👋
Why should they put a sign up? Do not touch the horse they don’t even read the sign where the horse kicks or bites people just don’t read signs it’s for their protection, but they cease to understand that.

Or jerk their heads away from the people. Seems that gets people away from them. Guards, you do a terrific job! You have real patience with the Pitas! I know you can't do anything abt it. but im so happy they put the signs up!
Made my heart happy to see that guard yell at the guy to get away as they were going in.
Should be a lot more of it.
I sometimes wonder about foreign language and smells (perfumes/aftershave) might upset the horses
It's a good job people can't hear me at home bawling at the way they swarm around the horses. Leave them alone, they are on duty!
I know I do the same thing.
It's a dog and pony show to them... sad
I do exactly the same vas you 👍I get SO mad at the way they disrespect our horses and soldiers
It's also the fault of the military that allows the people to touch

Jeez, there's no way I could do this duty, there would be pieces of these idiots everywhere. Poor horses.
Unbelievable! The guard told the one woman to let go of the reins, and she's still trying to figure out a way to pet or grab the reins again.
And right by the fresh new signs that now have Dont touch the reins on them
They should put this on the sign. “Do NOT TOUCH the horses”.
The next horse and guards waiting for the stress to start day
It’s unbelievable 😂 my respect goes out to the guards and the special horses ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The guards should be allowed to yell at everyone and use the horse to disperse the tourists as needed. More frequently please.
