Yeah but take the fun out of getting g picture. That's the reason tourists come just to brag about biting or nuzzling against the nose or face of a horse!! Now what?? It's get boring just a picture nit even a close up!! Think it affects the group coming?????? Hmmmm.....
Für die Soldaten ist es auch besser. Denn sie haben auch nicht mehr so viel Stress. Sie haben offt Schlimmes Verhindert wehen ein Paar Dummen Menschen die nur ihr Ego im sinn haben.
There was once a group from Africa..& the guard moved the horse into the box.. about 10 of them followed them into the box.. the horse had no space to put his face & wacked the boy with it.. the box got splattered on to the wall .. the most unbelievable video i would say
I just watched a video (and several before) where the same woman wants to pet the horse or has already done so. She wears a red coat and different scarves. She did ask, the guard said no. She then went back and worth from one horse to another. In the end, she picked up 2 different children, took them to the horse, and let them pet while she got to pet as well. If the guard had yelled, well, just imagine how'd they would react. Now, he could have pushed the panic button and probably should have. I watched her, and she acted like they were her own petting zoo and belonged to her. She needs to be trespassed or whatever they do in the UK. Maybe a little time behind bars or in front of a magistrate will work. I'm also in favor of cement barriers around the box connected by rails if this doesn't work.
I am so happy to see the gard and his horse get dignity from their superior I stopped watching the Chanel because of the disrespect they used to endure from the unruly tourist I hope they will be enforced.
Perfect!!!! 👏👏✊️ The horses are probably wondering how am I so lucky today? No weirdos pawing all over me! 😂 Happy, calm horses = happy, calm guards. 😊 yay!
It's a privilege to get to go and see the horse guards! Not your right. Follow the rules. Just hope during busiest tourism that this will be maintained!
Now that is precisely as it should be. Well done to that guard. So many arrogant people who completely disregard the rules in place. Great to see guards enforce them & making them look stupid too. Horses look so much more calmer too.
True that most have no idea how to safely approach a horse. The rein grabbing was incredibly rude. All the flitting around some people did was enough to make ME anxious. It's not a statue, it's a living, thinking animal. Respect is due but seldom given.
english ist not my native language, but i try . I am so happy to see, that the disrespectful Tourist can,t touch the horses anymore. Best wishes from Germany.❤️
Very good idea, the white border lines. Sometimes borders are important. I would also mark the paths that the guards take with white lines like this. Then the command: Clear path!
So glad the lines have gone up and that the horse and guard are being given the space and respect they need to do their job in a more comfortable manner for them both
Hopefully, the guard can do his job of observation instead of having to watch the tourists. He is there for a job to do, not watching the tourist distract him or make the horses spooked. Well done!
It is noticeable that a lot of the public do not like being reprimanded, They want to stand & maul like they used to do. Now RESPECT is demanded back. This is NOT a DISNEY THEME PARK !! I am so grateful that the M O D has at last tightened the behaviour of the tourists.
@bowlingbill9633 it seems, at least to me, that it started unfolding after that tourist rushed the horse, was bitten, then pretended to faint. She made a big todo I read, had ambo called and cried to her embassy. I did read that on another TH-cam so could be true or not. At any rate, the tourists did it to themselves apparently.
I really like it when they have this consistency of keeping people where they should be. This gives a real experience of discipline and respect to this lost generation that dont even listen to their parents. May applaud!! It is way more than just stay out of the limit line, that is what kids are missing, clear instructions, maybe some extra can make they think about it.
s Sadly its exactly as I thought.. Its now 24th OCTOBER and the novelty has worn off so the Tourons are pushing their luck at every time they can. Particularly the Chinese.
Thank goodness those lines have been drawn! It must have been quite frightening for the horses and troopers that the public were able to get so close. 🤩
WOW 😮, What a difference a few White Lines can make, so happy for the Kings Guards and their Beautiful Horses. I'm sure their time whilst on Guard is now Less Stressful for All involved. Thank You Gentlemen and Ladies for your Service. God Bless You All 💫
I am so glad the horses are getting the respect they deserve. Watch their ears. If they lay their ears back they are angry. They talk to you if you are smart enough to hear.
I remember this Guard’s demeanor & his commanding voice when he was a Gatesman. He was the one that confronted entitled & disrespectful tourists to their faces to get out of the archway. He was also the one that left his post & assisted his Mounted colleague to calm the horse in distressed at the parade grounds & guide it back to the sentry box. Now, as a Mounted Guard, he serves as a role model to his peers that strictly enforce the Rules of the House. Kudos to you, soldier!👌
YES 🙌🏽 YES 🙌🏽 my type of King’s Guard! He’s enforcing the rules, unlike other King’s Guards, who are not! Notice, how everyone is giving him, and his horse a wide berth!
I like the new rules regarding the horses & guards. Horses aren’t like dogs or cats they don’t like unknown persons suddenly getting more aggressive. The horses look more relaxed less stressed out.
TRULY BRILLIANT!!! i'd have required one tiny addition. At least 2 or 4 red angled lines within the new barriers. However; Congrats on the needed improvements!! Thanks for this outstanding move forwards!!! ** firmly enforce every shift. Yet Guard disgression, regards to mobility chairs & the mentally disabled, as some have. Kindly done on other occasions... Makes me so happy to see the new rules for the horse and guard as they won't be harassed, and not see those stupid people with those stupid smiles when the horse nips at them or when the guard yells at them.
Oh my gosh. Þheres be so many of us that have said paint a lines for restrictions. Finally. Finally. Thank you. I know it's city property but things will be better now.

Oh, I’m so happy that they stopped ppl from getting close to the horses. It’s much safer for both the horses & the guards. I’m sure that the ppl are not very happy about not being able to touch the horses but, tough toenails to them.
This guard has the right attude , the right work ethic . He is obaying orders and rules . That is a true guard .
Agree, if you don't understand his mouth, you'll damn sure understand his hands
Finally, a guard with integrity and a backbone.
Tienes razon los otros ni voz tienen no tienen nada quecestar de guardias.
This is wonderful. It was so cringy watching the people mauling the horses. The guard and the horse seem more relaxed❤
Your heart is so sweet
guards mustn’t be relaxed. They have to be clear and on point.

@@MaryBarrett-ez1sm No. I dont think it will affect it at all.
@@MaryBarrett-ez1smThere is no longer a real reason for the guards and horses other than tourism.
Well done that guardsman, they all need to enforce the rules for the horses sake. Again, well done.
Well done to the guard that should be said every time to stay behind the line and don't cross it
Me too .
But wait for the “summer” crowds and more disrespectful tourons…..
new job, every time 😂
I LOVE that they have put the lines where tourist can't cross and have finally stopped them from touching the horses. FINALLY!!
So happy they finally did this! Those horses and guards need protection from the idiots.❤

Those boxes are long overdue. So glad they added them. Better for the horse and everyone else.
I am very glad the guard and horse retrieved their pride , beauty ,and gallant.

Good job by the guard. People need to be more mindful.
Good job on the guard for saying something. Most don’t! ❤

Lovely relaxed horse, perfect responses from the guard. Yay!! At last the horses can relax 😊
At last some order. Well done thank you and thanks to Westminster Council for allowing this🏴🇬🇧💕

I really like the way this guard handles the box. 🎉 1:20

Glad to see this, people need to know the guard is not there for a photoshoot he is a working soldier ❤
So much better for the horses - they seem to be much calmer. Great idea to put the box in place 🙂
My question is Why wasn’t this done sooner ?
Because people used to respect boundaries now they have to be shown them and told to those who think it doesn't apply to them!
Because it just wasn't!!
Because it was no need ! We were educated !!!
