I have a problem (maybe just Apple mail related?
I have an image signature (I know you said its not the best) on transparent which looks great on dark as well as on light mode - but here ist the thing: When I write an test mail to myself, the Image sits on a dark background according to my settings, however as soon as I receive my own mail, it has a white mail background despite my dark mode setting...
Why is this happening and is there a way to change this?

What if I use a logo that is black, I won't be able to see it when it's on dark mode. I made a white version of this logo, but that won't be possible to see when it's on light mode. Is it possible to make the code recognise the mode? So when it's on dark mode it automatically shows the white logo and on light mode it uses the black logo.
Hi there, unfortunately some email clients use very, very basic HTML rendering engines which limits what CSS attributes you can use in the HTML code. This means that it's generally not possible to have responsive code that adapts to different modes such as dark mode or light mode because it will break the entire email signature on email clients that cannot render the responsive code. So for this reason, email signatures don't normally have responsive HTML in them. Hope this helps.
I just realised i wasted time. Though this video is useful but not in my case, I'm usgin QR Code, which is black, and on darkmode, I need to change it to white or something. Do you have any suggestion?
Hi Shahid, with an image like a QR code, you would be best to import it into a photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop and add a white background on the QR code. That way, the white background won't be visible when email clients are set to light mode, and it will be visible when set to dark mode. Hope this helps. All the best.
@@Gimmio Apprieciate your response, but What I want to show on darker screen should be white and black on light version. Isn't there anything where I can do HTML styling ?
@@shahidurrahman7374 unfortunately, with email signatures, it is impossible to do styling based on CSS media queries as you cannot have any tags in the email signature HTML. This means you are only left with inline CSS styles, and that means you cannot do any media queries. As a result, it's not possible to style the signature differently based on dark/light mode. These are just some of the challenges with email signatures in the modern era. Most email clients render email signatures "in a very basic way", and this means limited styling ability.
@@Gimmio Thank you for your response Gimmio, I have watched some video on youtube, and shows that we can insert an HTML option through some extension. But I'm not really sure if that's gonna be safe. Any idea about that?
