I strongly believe someone will make the series into feature films. It’s simply one of the best western non fictions in history. Characters are rich and defined. And that’s hard enough to do with a western. Easy for it to come across as corny. Hence why we taut tombstone as canon.
I once saw a comment where it was like: “Imagine if you brought a PS4, this game and a HDMI cable to the 1800’s and played this game, it would blow people’s minds”
Well, red dead has been always closer to the spaguetti western than the hollywood western, while a game like GUN for example would be a more hollywood western

Best part, it’s all hand made, by humans! Who would’a thunk, right?
For real. It’s crazy when a person can get so emotionally involved with just a game. That’s why I’ll always hail rockstar as one of the greatest; they make games that are better than most movies. That last ride back to camp where the song is playing and it cuts to slow scenes while Arthur recounts all the things he’s done…. F*ckin heartbreaking…. I definitely shed a few tears. They really know how to make a beautifully tragic, captivating story for their games.
Its crazy just how much AI has advanced, some of these images look so lifelike and realistic. Not just with images but even sounds and voices. I dont know if I'm more impressed or terrified lol
It's kinda amazing. Some of the pictures are super high quality for A.I. Then, right after, you see the worst possible thing a human could set eyes on.
Dude. This was amazing. I had the whole story playing in my head with each picture. You cannot say this would make an epic series on Paramount or something you know.
This video really helped me understand the game and understand through what conditions and in what wilderness the Van Der Linde Gang lived and what they saw. And this music... This is not the first time I’ve watched this video!
RDR 2, like 1, was made inspired by the Western genre, the Western gained particular popularity in the 60-70s, when Panavision equipment was in use, it turns out that we returned to the origins of this game and made the game itself part of the origins, only Eastwood is missing here
As someone who has played RDR2 many, many times and has cried over this game's ending (and I am proud to admit it!) this alone is enough to flood my emotions even tho some are a little scary looking =P but great vid!
They’re American western themed movies that were common and popular during the 60s and 70s that were made by Italian directors/studios rather than Hollywood. Movies you’ve probably seen by Sergio Leone like the good, the bad and the ugly were considered spaghetti westerns.
I would love to have a movie similar to RDR2, a long epic biopic deconstructing the western genre with many characters going through major arcs, traveling through the land west of the mississipi river, seeing it evolve just like their own lives do. A story leading to something bigger, maybe even a whole trilogy.
Yeah maybe, but I could also see a trilogy where every movie is 3-4 hours long, just like lord of the rings. It could work if the stars align perfectly. But I'm not necessarily talking about an RDR2 live action remake, more just something in the same vain of it.
That would have been HUGE around 1960, when the Western was at peak popularity. Probably couldn't get it made now, though -- the studios chase the teen and 20-something audience, and they're not seen as being Western enthusiasts.
That area behind Tilly at 0:59 genuinely looks like the Clemens Point area or an area near the Wapiti Reservation. Either way it looks like an area pulled straight out of the game, which is sick to see.
This is brilliant 👌 On a note; I’ve always said that Norman Reedus is the best comparable, logical modern equivalent of a screen adaptation of John Marston from his evolution/maturity as ‘Daryl’ from about season two, to about season 6, or 7 or 8.. (That show dragged on for way too many years & became a money train in my opinion, & my opinion is die-hard from it’s humble beginnings)
