Well, good to see you again my dear friend and hope you are doing well, first I noticed ur hair was different from last video looks good, cool little pivy an hidden good ,glad u had good night camping, ok see you later
I’m sure you know this Carrie, but Incase you don’t, please don’t sleep under Beech. They often drop a whole branch. It’s what they do, especially if their bark has light from any side. Thanks for sharing your night in the woods. It’s lovely just to hear the breeze moving through the leaves. 🙏✨
@@Globetrotter-1 ps… yes planes fall out of the sky… don’t see many littering the land though eh… you been in a wood lately? Not giving an F comes natural to me so i dont need to read the book...The secret life of trees is super fascinating and includes some fairly new discoveries about trees building support systems and communities with self defences and attack methods, it really is an awesome book which makes you appreciate the forrests on an even deeper level......Great little video and i am always impressed when a woman goes out solo.

Nice little spot you have there Carrie it’s the best way to be keeping off the main track out of the way how was the bivvy for condensation and I like the firebox whereabouts is it from keep safe 😊
Hi there, just come across this channel about a young lady who loves going out wild camping on her own and enjoying herself enjoying nature and bushcrafty stuff, it's heartening to see, enjoy. Have you thought about a light tarp to cover your bivi in case of adverse weather, this is Britain after all, and a bit of extra shelter helps for stashing rucksacks and boot's.
Hey lovely, nice to see you back out … well I got myself an OEX Phoxx 1 for my last solo wild camp whilst doing the Brontë way….. it’s a one berth tent but so small I couldn’t sit up and that was hardcore for me 🤣🙈 so i fully take my hat off to you for the bivvy camps x well done! Lovely spot and beautifully filmed as always
Great video with some good points, well made. And of course coffee ☕ whilst camping is a must. I look forward to seeing more videos from you. Take care
The location was bear perfect Carrie and the music just added that bit of flair that you exhibit in your vlogs. Glad for you that it was restful and enjoyable. On to the next one. Bushyboy Oz.
Glad you made it out again for a while little mate....nothing like it eh 😉 Been hammocking since last October and won't switch back to ground dwelling if I can help it. But that's over a year now without having a cuppa in my shelter when out....one thing I miss about tents etc. Best wishes as always

Very happy to see you back in the woods. I like your set up and I've really missed hearing you talk. Your accent just melts my heart. Stay safe and healthy.
Hi Carrie. I really enjoy your videos. Love the music and just the soothing sounds of nature and your speaking. Just wondering if you could do a video or include in a video what your visions for your channel are - say five or ten years down the road.
The Hilleberg Bivanorak is the only "bivy" i have tried, and i *really* like this shelter..! It takes so little space that i can fit everything i need for an overnighter (including cookset and 2x 0,9 liter bottles of water) in the 15 liter Arctertx "Index 15" backpack (without strapping anything to the outside)..! I love being able to set up camp right on the trail - and having no walls around me feels much more like being out in nature than i get with a tent. Sleeping with the head in the hood means that i get a lot of fresh air, and dont get condensation from breathing inside a conventional bivy (or tent). Another major benefit over conventional bivys is the ability to sit up and cook food, or even walk around and take a piss or whatever, without leaving the shelter. Its not got any bug protection, but a headnet is suprisingly efficient, even in conditions with lots of mosqitos and other bugs around. Weight is 500g, which is pretty lightweight compared to bringing both a bivy and full body raingear - but if it rains, you may want at least a small tarp to cover the hood while you sleep, or to cook under during the day... Trees can also be used for shelter though, so a tarp is not strictly necessary.
