Hey guys, I hope your all having an awesome weekend. Thank you so much for checking out this video- I look forward to catching up with you in the comments
Yeah, I need to just jump in to get out and do the things outside that I need to do. I hate ending up somewhere without something I really need so I tend to put basic things in every backpack I have and then I find myself with at least enough to be able to improvise something. I have some even more basic things in my pocket at all times that would be a decent start, even if I didn't always take one of my backpacks whenever I go something. I always do end up having to improvise though but that's kind of part of the fun of it, I think.
Hello Carrie. Another cracking video. landscape is spectacular.Who needs mountains, with views like these. Watterfall views was outstanding. thanks for letting us all come along with you,
Ey up Carrie 👍….. lovin your channel…. Very natural feel to it…. Hey what a view that was to wake up to…. Just keep doing what your doing…. Brilliant 👍👍👍
Hey Carrie, great vid! So sorry about the dog, I had a dog that lost her sight as well and it never broke her spirit, but it was sad to watch her trying to keep up with me. Thank you for sharing!
That's Banishead Quarry isn't it? Near Torver? Mountain biked past there. Black Moss Pot is the go to place for wild swimming in the lakes. Easy to get there, so go early as can get a few folks there
Lovely video what a great waterfall and you found such a fantastic camping spot with a stunning view to wake up too . I love watching your video's you are such an inspiration for other to get out and enjoy the countryside. I wish I had done more walking when I was younger but it's never to late to explore new places and see new things that's what life about exploring and making memories. Thanks for sharing and take care.
iv always liked vango tents had quite a few of them the soul i baght myself as cheap tent pole broke first night couldn't sit up in it was awful only way cook in vestibule is with door open and the top of the tent then drips inside your inner tent making everything wet through hated the thing used it that once for one nighter replaced pole and e bayed it
Love your accent. I'm from the States. I absolutely LOVE the Lake District having visited a few years ago. Thanks for sharing your camping. I just love the beauty of your land.
Vango tents are always really reliable. I think they mainly get looked down upon because of their weight, which is usually "high" compared to other offerings, it shows in the quality though, and they're amazing for the prices you pay. It's interesting you say about not going because of the hassle. One of the reasons I don't film my camps is because of all the extra pressure it adds, I've thought about it a lot, but choose to get out at least twice a month, and can't help feeling that would decrease if I decided to film them. Anyway, thanks for taking us along with you. ❤️
Hi mate. Sorry to hear about Tallulah though I know she'll still have a great quality of life with you. Your attitude is spot on with regards to your condition and as you know there are unlimited beautiful lakeside, woodland & valley locations for a fantastic wild-camp. xx
that waterfall was stunning...cheers.. and great camp spot(apart from midge). great effort.... nice one carrie and co (edit the cheaper..but heavier polyester DD tarp 3x3, and a budget bivvy bag would be a gd vid... (with less midgeys about)and might be a budget setup worth considering)
Yeah good plan, I just thought a few videos on budget kit would be a great idea for people planning to start out 🏕 I’ll definitely look into that - but yes with less midges 🤣
The scenery is beautiful. A little bit of Shakey legs for a beautiful waterfall, not a bad trade off. As I mentioned in one of your videos, I totally understand the pain issues. Thanks for posting this. 👉🏻🇺🇸🤝🇬🇧👈🏻👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Carrie, great video. I live in New Zealand but as a boy read the Arthur Randsom kids novels based in the lakes district. Beautiful country! Can’t believe the effort required to build the stone walls for the sheep 🐑 paddocks! Looks like a great lake for fishing 🎣 Thanks for sharing Dave
Wow New Zealand, how lucky it’s on my bucket list to travel there one day ☺️ The Lake District is beautiful, those stone walls always fascinate me too 🙂
Nice relaxing video Carrie Who needs mountains when you can wake up where you did looked a very tranquil place sorry to hear about Tallulah and as far as your pain you should be proud of yourself you’re getting out and doing what you can respect to youLook forward to your next video
Don't listen to the neg sayers, you do you. Me, I'd rather be comfy looking at a mountain than uncomfortable on a mountain. Your out and that's all that matters. The more you look after yourself the more and longer you will be able to enjoy it. Lovely vid and music as always, I for one will be looking forward to the next one. Take care
Brilliant carrie.....the fells are amazing for views love them , however I've camped around crummock, blea tarn , tarn hows, etc....and just as good cheers and all the best 👍 😀 🏕
Shame the little ones not there but she's in good hands bless her, we had a nice time in a cabbin there last year, I would rather be in a tent though, fabulous clip thank you. So sorry to hear your in pain Carrie, good for you pushing on, take care .
Carrie? I don't know how to tell you this love but you are being stalked by a strange guy who is carrying a green carrier bag. lol, Keep up the good work young lady. I'm so sorry to hear about your lovely little dog.
Oh wow! The lakes are absolutely beautiful and I'm glad I picked them...first. lol Prayers Up for healing and respite from pain for you and Tallulah and of course blessings to all who wish to recieve.
@@ukcarrieoutdoors9840 You never know Carrie stranger things have happened and I do this properly the only thing you and Tallulah have to do is to be aware of it and allow the healing to happen. Spirit will take care of the rest. How do we make Tallulah aware of this? Tell her of course but animals are incredibly perceptive and intuitive when it comes to this sort of thing she may already be aware. Best wishes to both of you.
Did my first ever wild camp 2 weeks ago in Lake District & then headed up to the Scottish Highland, Loved it... Looking forward to getting back out there under the stars. PS, You ever tried CBD oil for your'e pain? not the cheap stuff you get in normal shops. Supreme CBD is very good.
😁 hi Carrie. Firstly, sorry to hear about tulullah and secondly regarding your condition, try not to worry and think too much about the future. They will be ways to carry on enjoying the great outdoors, after my spinal op at Xmas I'm in constant pain and mobility is restricted and I'll never now be the same I was say 2 years ago. I've been through ups and downs regarding the future, but settled now with what I can and can't do now. Carry on for as long as you can, you just have to change a few things along the way. Hope you have your pain management under control... But mostly, great video I love the Lakes 😁👍 takecare and I look forward to your next adventure wether local or far 😁
Hey, thank you so much, I’m sorry to hear about your condition also. You are so right we just need to know our limits and enjoy it the best way possible. Thank you so much 😊
Hey, I’ve never traveled by public transport before as I always drive there. I’ve seen some people get trains to Penrith and go from there but I haven’t done this to offer advice sadly! But do some research and plan in advance and I’m sure you’ll be able to make a wonderful trip 🙌🏻
With the chronic condition you might do a bit of research on Keto coupled with intermittent fasting . Either way the condition is to improve remarkably . Beautiful scenery . I thought maybe you were 21 .
Be careful! You talked about ticks.... I was a game warden here in Maryland, USA. I had one coworker with Rockies mounted spotted fever, another got lymes which turned into menagititis... his brain swelled and caused his optical nerves to make him almost blind. He had to take medical disability! It's bad! Be safe!
Wow that sounds scary! I’ve heard similar stories and it does worry me - I hate the things. They are so small to it’s usually too late when you find them, I do carry a tik remover with me all the time but yeah they are the worst.
Hi love hope you safe and well I just want to ask again some advice what do you think of my tube name overdrive adventurous dave is it unique I don't want to take anyone else's name . Also im thinking trying it out on you tube just ordered my first cheap gopro If any tips or advice would be grateful with thanks from dave

If you could only pick one place to go for ever . Out of lakes peaks or snowdonia where would it be . I know That’s a hard question
I’ve never been to snowdonia but it looks amazing, I’ve explored the Lake District a lot, so it holds a special place for me
Best movies to watch while camping on moors .
1) dog soilders
2) American werewolf in london
Peak District is an hour away from me and I use that hour as an excuse a lot 🤦🏻♂️
I’m the same sometimes, but I’m trying to change that this year and go for it lol
