    So which has better quality, and which is easier or better in any way?:
    Putting titles from Keynote on iMovie,
    or putting an iMovie export in the background of a Keynote presentation?

    • @macmost
      @macmost  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "Better" is subjective. You certainly have more options with Keynote. But if iMovie does what you want, then it is quicker to do it in iMovie. Both are tools in your toolbox.

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you want to share your screen, plus show your camera at the bottom? That depends on what you are using to share. Your best bet is if the software you are using has that as an option. Otherwise, you'll need to do a lot of work with OBS or something like that to set it up.

    When I export in Keynote the box is checked to make it transparent, so it seems I've done all prior steps correctly, but when I import into imovie it's not transparent.
    Any idea why?

    • @macmost
      @macmost  ปีที่แล้ว

      First, check the file before you open it in iMovie. Is it transparent in Quick Look, for instance? Then in iMovie, are you using it as a cutaway. If you put it in the main timeline it won't have anything "behind" it to show through.

      You might want to try uploading it to TH-cam as a private video and select the option to automatically generate subtitles for you. Once TH-cam does its magic, you can check out the results and hopefully save you a lot of time manually typing & translating your content. Of course, the quality of the translation will certainly be better if you do it manually, but depending on the amount of footage you have, you might benefit from the "free machine translation".
