- Here's the lowdown on the Flytanium scales for your knives. This American company makes it possible to really change the appearance of your folding knife. This by request review covers the titanium, G10, and micarta precision machined scales for popular EDC knives. A fitted purple pair I put on a Benchmade Bugout is shown and it looks good! These will require complete disassembly of the knife to put them on. But you can turn your plain jane Spyderco or Benchmade into something special with them.

I love the Flytanium cage ball bearing locks for the Spyderco Manix 2, For scales, also look into RGT.
To each their own, but $200+ for that little knife, and around a $100 for the aftermarket grips?

I really wanted to love the bugout. And was all set to buy one. Went down to my local benchmade dealer. Saw the one I had my heart set on. Asked the man behind the counter to take it out so I could check it out. And then....I felt the handle and how easily it flexed in my hand. And my heart was broken. So many reviews I'd seen of people saying it was the ultimate edc pocket knife, and I couldn't justify getting it. But now seeing the different kinds of scales I could get. Maybe some CF or aluminum scales might remedy the only but big problem I had with it. If the scales could be just a little more rigid I'd buy one in a heart beat. So thank you for this video. Because the factory scales were a deal breaker for me. Thanks again Fancy. Love your videos man. Been a TNPer since 2011.
I have never been much of a knife guy, but that Desert Warrior is awesome. The comedic fun of it is something we should see more of, like you said.

i did the brass handles on a pm2 and had it waved and that sucker was HEAVY. gave it to a friend.
i just carry the emerson pm2 and a lightning all the time now lol gotta have a lightning!
I have a Benchmade 51, and Kershaw balisong with flytanium replacement parts, surprised other companies don't make aftermarket parts for knives
Know u didn't like the balisong, but it's just as useful as a simple folder... Only you can open and close it with one hand
I had to send my scales back twice, the centering was horrible after putting them on. customer service is top notch though.

I hate changing scales on benchmade axis locks! The pivot is a pain in the a$$ to reassemble.

For some reason the modded Bugout looks fake to me. The coating is way too shiny like a painted on coating and the laser etching is off too. Nutn, did you get the modded Bugout from a dealer?

Because you don't have a choice with phones. You have a choice with tools, clothes, knives, etc.
You're forgetting a large number of important items but cool
They are not always perfect. I ran a set of carbon fibers on my Kershaw skyline and was pretty disappointed. I could either center the blade or get a smooth opening action but not both at the same time. My guess is that some of the holes were not aligned in perfect parallel by the tiniest of tiny margins but on something like a pocket knife it’s enough to Throw the entire thing out of whack. Funny enough this is not a harsh review Flytanium, I just think they’re expensive and and not always perfectly hat you are expecting but very second type of cool when they work out.

Try doing a multi-review. Maybe do 1 or 2 minute review per item in one video. So 1-2 minutes on a review of a watch, then 1-2 minutes on a knife, then 1-2 minutes on a gun, multitool, etc.
