1978 Lagerfeld 110 - 110 Film Camera

The Lagerfeld 110 is a novelty ‘toy’ camera released as an advertising item to promote Karl Lagerfeld products. Probably issued around a particular product launch. It has been suggested that these were given away to a closed circle of people. The production date of 1978 seems to be the general internet consensus. These ‘can’ cameras were popular from around 1977 to 1983, often referred to as ‘Eiko 110 Cameras’. Eiko being the main manufacturer of this design.
Kodak Launched the ‘brick’ shaped ‘Pocket Instamatic’ 110 format in 1972. The 110’s became popular consumer ‘Point & Shoot’ cameras in the 1970s and 1980s. Many novelty designs were produced in all manner of shapes and brands.
