Its our happy place too. I love sitting at the beach warongs with the locals (some I have made friends with) and just enjoying life.

Hi guys, been loving your videos, very informative. I have been a few times and coming in August again , was wondering if any recomendations on hireing bike in Kuta area. Will be bringing own helmets and will need a big bike for 2 , we have never hired bikes always had a driver but thinking of doing a bit of our own exploring. Keep up your great vids. Cheers.

Hi Tracy. There are lots of bike hire places on Facebook and you can arrange the hire before you go. $10 per day is a decent price for an N Max, a slightly larger bike that is good for two to explore the island ( you will get everywhere so much quicker on a bike). Make sure it has a luggage box, phone holder and phone charger.
Usual stuff: good helmet, shoes and be careful.
Lastly, have to highlight - if you are not a rider back home, this really isnt the place to learn. Thanks for reaching out, all the best and enjoy your holiday.

Great video guys. Sam, what shoes would you recommend (for guys) to wear in Bali?

It would be ridiculous to try to wear a short motorcycle boot in that heat, so the next best thing is the most durable leather runner you can find. I searched for a while and found a brand called Deuce. They are around $200, I think I got them on sale for $120. Leather, good quality, come with a warranty and, I think, look great for a white casual runner.
Thanks for the cheer on the video and enjoy your travels.
