So the MinimalX and the Mbombo are from the same designer I see. I would love to get my hands on a Mbombo but they are currently sold out. I hope there will be another run soon but in the mean time I think I will jump on the MinimalX. It looks to be about the same size as the Boker Plus S-Rail which is pretty cool too as an EDC.

Mbombo was limited to 500 pieces and is great 👍 minimalix is also a really nice small knife. So far, I've 2 things which I "don't like" about this knife:
1.frame lock- it's a small knife and doesn't have any cutouts in the scale, so access to the lock is not comfortable, especially with bigger palms or fingers
2.price- I paid 68€ which is slightly to much for that small knife and that "simple" material what is made.
At the end, I recommend both knives 👌

Oh Well, I guess I will have to keep an eye on the secondary market and hope one comes available...😉😜. I do suspect there will be a G10 or Micarta version of the Mbombo though, or at least a larger version of the MinimalX.
