It was my second. Botach has them for just $150 for a month now. My first one was a MaxAce Hellcat. Honestly, while Hellcat doesn't have a 20CV blade, the rest of it blows away even this premium version of Lucha. The latch on the Lucha is just pathetic - simply flops around free, bangs up your Ti liners and ends up blocking some flips. The Hellcat has a spring latch, which gets held out of the way and is generally way nicer. Also, the Hellcat pivots on bushings, like most of the high end balis, and has zen pins too. I still do like and recommend the premium Lucha - the blade is wicked, I'm a fan of CF and it's a steal for $150. BTW, there is a premium version of the Hellcat with an M390 (same as 20CV) blade for $280.

I just got one yesterday, so my obvious first response is the shaving test. The hairs disappeared under mijimal force even my shaving razor struggled with.

Just got my drop point today. Some ppl complain about the retention of the sheath. The retention is good. I added the clip to the sheath and it fit my belt perfectly. I just wish there was a better way to keep it from sliding between my 1:00 belt loop and the 12:00 belt buckle area. I’ll see what I can do about keeping it still. It’s still a great tool and I’m glad I got it. The draw came natural too, no issues even if it did float around from 12-1:00. As far as retention, I wouldn’t sleep with it on, but I wouldn’t worry about it falling out either unless you’re doing something rough, then you might not want to be wearing a blade anyway. Just my review.

the blinky modes are useless annoyance and the interface is not great... but the form factor is interesting.
