the pot still and black barrel. For consistency and a very easy drinker it's hard to beat regular Jameson. Was surprised how much I enjoyed the crested.Have tried either the IPA or stout cask finishes or the triple triple. Was a little disappointed in the black barrel proof.
Traveling to Ireland with the family at the end of the month and we will be touring the Jameson Distillery in Dublin before heading to Cork. Love your channel and love this video…it will help a lot!
Hey guys nice fun video, I would've love to be at that table and try all of these Jamesons. I do really enjoy Jameson but unfortunately the only ones I can get in my market are (and in order of my preference) Black Barrel, Stout, Standard, IPA - collab with a Turkish brewery and finally Caskmates IPA -the standard one. I would love to try Black Barrel proof. Cheers guys 🥃
Ah yeah, there's definitely some better releases in their range like the black barrel proof and single pot still. Hopefully they arrive in your market soon!
Fun video. I don't drink much Jameson's; basically Teeling Small Batch in cocktails and Writer’s Tears, Writers Tears Double Oak, and Yellow Spot for sipping. But, there are so many good ones! I get my "continuing education" when in Dublin at the Celtic Whiskey Shop and the The Stag's Head. Slainte!
I haven't tried the triple triple, the IPA, or the SPS (though I have a bottle of the latter). Given that I'd rank them: Black Barrel Proof Crested Caskmates Stout Edition Black Barrel Standard If the Distillery Edition was in here, I'd put it at no. 2. I hope they keep making the Black Barrel Proof; hopefully it's not just a limited run.
@@TheWhiskeyNerdAfter watching this I had to crack open my SPS and compare it side by side with the BBP. Hard to pick between the two, but I'd say the BBP just about wins for me, making SPS my new no. 2
I'm fairly fond of the Stout edition, especially just as a simple, no-fuss sipper, but despite that, I do agree that there's much better options out there!
Which Jameson is your favourite?
The Pot Still by far!
I like the black barrel standard. The caskmate sounds interesting, especially how she describes it, lol.
Great video Matt and Rose! I love the Single Pot Still expression a lot and the Black Barrel Proof! Delicious!!

Thanks! Happy to help!
Hope you enjoy your trip here and can find something special to bring home!
Looks like you'll be making an Infinity Jameson bottle with all those samples. haha!
Haha, that'd be a good idea!
lol love the thumbnail! One fo the first bottles we tried as we started our journey was the Caskmates. Jameson is a staple! Cheers.
Cheers to ya both! And thanks for watching!
Ordered the Pot Still a couple of days ago. I just have to collect it at the post office. Will taste it soon. I'm really curious.
Ooh, I hope you enjoy it!

The folks at Celtic are great for the chat and so knowledgeable about the whiskeys they stock!
@@TheWhiskeyNerd And generous with samples to those sincerely interested.
They are indeed!
love this video. so much Jameson to try. did not realize there were so many. Glad you tasted all these, of course of science. lol slainte
There's also a bunch of limited editions and distillery exclusives, but we figured 8 is more than enough!
Love this!!! Such a cool idea!
Glad you liked it!! It was fun to film!
Hi man what whiskey tasting glass do you this is better tuath glass or glencairn glass what you opinion
In my opinion, I prefer the Tuath glass. Similar to the glencairn, but easier to drink from, and looks better!
That's true
Question about tuath and glencairn
I got the jamson black barrel proof for 30 euro and jamson crested for 25 euro
Those are great prices!
I like the jamson crested
@@phillyhoran it's a solid little whiskey!

Yeah, that BBP should be a proper release! But I'm the SPS is widely released now

@@Stephen_Curtin glad to hear you liked it! Hopefully the bottle lasts long enough to enjoy it some more!

Sounds like a fun exercise
It sure was!
How long is rose going to be a noob.
Ah, she's not really a noob anymore, but it's just a fun little title
You poured them all for the tasting, how soon afterwards do you finish them?😂
Haha! It was the last video we filmed that day, so they didn't last too much longer after we finished up!
