The Paldea Evolved Pikachu promo will be one of the bigger ones long term I reckon. So many Pikachu collectors out there will be wanting it 5+ years down the road.
Yeah it's a good one. I feel really stupid for sleeping on the new Pokémon Centre ETB's for so long. Got some 151 ones at least.

@Lechonkamania People are underestimating the longer term appeal of the new starters. The games are mid but this Horizons show is extremely popular.

PC ETBs have me cautiously optimistic for the Eeveelution high class and the Team Rocket sets. If they get banger promos, those ETBs are gonna be chasing after 151
Unfortunately, there's no guarantee we will get any set featuring the Terastal Festival eevee evolutions in English. As shown previously by TPCI they're keen on keeping some extremely popular Japanese cards and features out of English cards.

You’re right I do have the same sentiments as you said where not EVERY one is going to do well but that if picked correctly they can be profitable still.
I also just wanted to add one tiny thing:
One thing really cool about PC ETBs is that major retailers like Walmart, K-Mart, Costco, etc,. Aren’t even legally allowed to sell them.
Which means there’s not tens of thousands of them on shelves ya know?
Especially with the lack of restocks since Sw&Sh which I think is because reprinting the stamped promos makes it much harder than when all they had to do was throw in 2 extra packs.
Like just for comparison:
Temporal Forces PC ETBs are sold out yet Astral Radiance PC ETBs are in stock.

I think Pokemon recognized no one wanted things unique if they printed them into oblivion.
So now they seem to have a policy of stocking a specific set amount and that’s it. No more, no restocks. No reprints.
That's alright mate! They seem like short term and long term a real solid pick up if it's a good set with a good promo.

The general rule of the thumb is it goes in.
When you think about it there’s a lot of 151 coded promos so far from scarlet and violet with magneton continuing the trend with the same art style as chase magikarp. So far at least half of them should do quite well and really separate it from the regular etb in the long term.
Too bad there aren't any pokemon center ETBs in our country 😭😭
Buying online is already higher than retail price.

I might have mentioned this earlier, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the social media influence, especially during COVID and how that factors into long term investing security? There has been a massive surge in big personalities including pokerev, leonhart, cool trainer ryan (especially that massive Blaziken vmax marathon) etc that I can see will influence future demands provided their channels continue to grow. It might be complex but would love to hear your opinions 🤔
Good timing mate! My video on Tuesday will sort of touch on this a little bit, that a big market for selling your sealed product to will be collectors and the rise of streamers/ rip and shippers.

Why can’t we pre order ETB’s from the Pokémon Center AUS ? Do they only become available on release date?

thank goodness that i made the smart idea for investing in each Pokemon Center ETB for the S&V error. i think 151, paldea evolved and Obsidian flames are going to be the more profitable ones in the future. those promos they have are most liky the more popular pokemon. thankfully i have 2 of each and a case of twilight, surging sparks and SF. need to pick up a couple 151 PC etb there just going up like crazy
Love your videos man ! I try and watch one every day !! I’d love to hear more about the vintage market for singles / booster box. Is there a way to get into that in 2024? Or do you basically need to get lucky at a garage sale to find those good deals on vintage items
What’s the best way to store booster boxes if having to move houses. And potentially store long term. Is wrapping them in bubble wrap and laying them horizontal and stack by 1 on top acceptable?
Mate could you do a video if it’s better to take a shot on selecting a sealed case of a solid set eg Paldea evolve or getting 6 seperate boxes selecting 1 of each starting from S&V base and up. Which would be the better long term return ?
Shame that the price of these PC ETB are brutal as an Australian. Shiping cost included, $140-ish? That's almost the price of a booster box on sale

Great video big bro! In Europe PC ETBs are really hard to find and some of them are 100€ just at release due to shipping costs. The fact that we don’t have a Pokemon Center on Europe is kind of ridiculous😅

Does this only apply to Pokemon Center edition Scarlet & Violet Base ETB’s? There is a Books-A-Million near me that has a stockpile of the retail version for under $40. I’ve been debating picking a few up for the sealed investment collection.
With the Battle Stadium no longer being offer for S&V, where do you rate Booster Bundles as an investment compared to Booster Boxes?
As shown with 151 Booster Bundles, they are investible and nicknamed mini booster boxes due to being as they only have booster packs inside.
That etb Magneton promo card is phenomenal, I wonder if we’ll see a Japanese version of that card in Super Electric Breaker? It might pay to invest in a couple of Super Electric Breaker booster boxes if that Magneton is in the set.

Suggestion: stamped promos such as EB Games from Aus/NZ and Gamestop promos from US (usually free with some kind of purchase, but goes up in value due to country exclusivity)

what is the general rule in investing if at the end of the season I already sold all my inventory? should I keep one booster box for every set? I felt sad when I sold my set/ collection at the start of the boom
Obtain new inventory and start over again?

Pokemon has already adjusted their PC ETB print runs. They are printing them a ton more now so they don’t sell out before release or at release. I personally would highly recommend not buying into PC ETBs for investments. They are hard to move in the end as well. Not too liquid
Unless you have inside information about their production numbers, which you don't, you can't say PC ETBs not selling out now is simply due to increased production or simply lower demand.
The max age of a PC ETB is 3 years and 5 months as of 10/6/2024. So, your "they are hard to move in the end" comment quite clearly points to your desire to buy them to try to scalp them upon them selling out upon release day.
They're not a bad buy if you're actually buying them to hold for a long period. YOU simply made the incorrect assumption that every set would sell out and you could double your money right away. The "free tendies" era of getting any PTCG item, turning around and selling it right away for profit is over.
Again, you not adjusting to the market doesn't indicate anything about TPCI's production runs.
@@BobLeeSwagger20 I've bought them from the beginning with Chilling. I don't care if you believe me or not but they are harder to sell, that's a fact if you want to believe it or not. Only the short printed ones have a demand. If you think you're going to double your money on Twilight PC ETBs it will certainly be many years. Good luck, but I'm not wasting my time with them. They are slow to sell with less demand.

Whats up with all the regurgitated pokemon content? Ever since 2020 one after another. Same content, different content creator! Its getting predictable and very basic at this point. 😢 Does anyone care about anything other than PRICING...? So i guess ill do this, (THUMBS DOWN 👎) come up with less capitalistic content!!
