He's essentially built the exact same way as Hasbro's Hulks like Red Hulk/Maestro. The figure is just bigger and painted head to two very well. I think he's a great versatile figure that easily fits in a ML collection.
The average select big villain figure would be a marvel legends deluxe for $50 . And the select is superior in sculpt and a lot of people don't care about scale because it means nothing in the comics, different artists will draw them bigger or smaller as they wish . That juggernaut is easily the best figure ever made of him ,if you don't really care for him with shiny paint.
The marvel select figures tend to scale alright with each other in the exaggerated sense which I kind of like, even if Rhino for example is a lot bigger than Spider man than he should be. The overall better look makes them compatible to articulated statues oppose to looking just like toys.
The marvel select The amazing Spiderman 2 Spiderman figure is my favorite Spidey figure. It has the raised webbing, big eyes, and best of all; a fire-man hat because Peter's second job is putting out fires. Must be low on rent.

Immortal Hulk is easily the best MS figure, unquestionably. Ragnarok Gladiator Hulk is also one of my absolute favorite figures and was actually the first Marvel Select I bought. I gotta say, though, where's Groot? He absolutely beautifully sculpted while also being really well articulated, and he fits perfectly in with Marvel Legends as well as Mythic Legions.
Can't believe the MS Groot isn't on here? Hasbro has never made a Groot as nice as that one. He fits perfectly with Legends. Also a shout out for MS Rocket Raccoon 🦝
It's fantastic. I've never even had an attachment to the character, but picked him up upon seeing it in person years ago at a comic shop. The hard rubbery detail and textures along with the surprisingly good articulation make him an easy favourite. He is also notably heavy overall, and a figure that people often notice in my home who aren't even into this stuff.
Back when I first started collecting Marvel figs I was drawn in by the Select series due to the slightly larger scale, then later realized Legends is better in terms of variety, detail and articulation.
I always wanted Frankenstein's Monster to be done in Marvel Select. The Legends version is OK, but Franky is supposed to be 8 feet tall. Therefore, a Select version would be more in scale with 6"ers.
Lady Death isn't articulated, she's a statue. Also, the Marvel Select Ultron, and Sandman go well with Marvel Legends, and so does the recent Titanium Man.
Basically, all the Selects that are, "heavy hitters," are worth getting. I'm not being snarky. I feel the same way. I'm sorry I missed out on Titanium Man.
Thanks for the review. You're mistaken though about Colossus. His Select version is perfect for Marvel Legends given that Colossus in the comics is 7'5" in armored form. His Marvel Legends version is too short.
It really depends on the source material, and even the particular issue, episode, artist, or even frame for how tall he becomes. I agree that he strikes me as a little tall, but if you have him with another larger character (I pose mine with the select rhino), it just looks like a larger than life display.

I love this line. Really glad to have picked up a bunch of these years ago including Magneto, Red Hulk, Colossus, and Rhino. I'm glad that Venom is getting reissued. This was one of my first, and with the different parts, you can make him into a few versions which adds to the already great value.
I'm really surprised that the Spectacular Spiderman didn't make the list. Multiple hands, a masked and unmasked head sculpt, a camera, and a mask he can hold when you've got him with the unmasked head. Plus, he's surprisingly articulated and can hit lots of classic Spiderman poses. My current favorite MS figure is definitely Titanium Man though.
I’ll go with a Marvel Legend nine times out of ten, but a really high quality Select beats out a Legend often, especially in sculpting. I especially love the larger characters in Select scale to pop in a display.
I honestly think that the original 3 marvel zombies marvel select (Colonel America, Spider-man, and Hulk) look great, who am I kidding, even the Magneto and Sabertooth look good (not a fan of them adding Ultron into 2nd wave) and the interlocking stands/base of "feasted on Silver Surfer" is pretty intense

I know it's already been mentioned multiple times, but... The Lady Death figure isn’t articulated. Also, the Select Hulkbuster is a very different design from the MCU version, as you demonstrated in the photos shown.
The MCU Infinity War Teen Groot is one of the best figures I got, great sculpt, amazing paint work and his proportions are perfect. It's like having a miniature Hot Toys.
The immortal hulk figure is so damn good. I really hope they do a release with the same body but a more modern head sculpt and paint job. A true immortal hulk head with the grin would be amazing
im currently considering getting into higher end things like statues, but only the smaller 1/10 ish scale ones like kotobukiya & iron studios. that would mean stopping most figure collecting, cant do both, but would like to still get figures in the same kind of scale like selects, & neca, things like that, but smaller ones like legends would have to go :/
My collection is almost all Legends except for a bunch of the bigger characters like colossus, Juggs, sabretooth, Rhino, Abomination, Thanos etc. The articulation is a bit crap on some of them but they more than make up for it with sheer bulk.
Hasbro actually did make a Destroyer figure for the first Thor movie. It’s not a Marvel Legend, but it is more movie accurate than the Select figure if you’re looking for your MCU collection. Also, it’s 8 inches tall, which scales really nicely with Legends. Unfortunately, there is next to no articulation, so he’s basically good for standing there and looking intimidating. Still thought, if you are a Hasbro diehard and want a solid Destroyer that is pretty faithful to the movie, it’s a great figure.
I actually have both the marvel legends captain america double pack and a marvel select captain america and honestly both are cool but marvel select just it so much cooler the fact that it comes with seperate heads and u can add the straps and belt and put the shield on the back is awesome and u can use the marvel select captain america shield on the marvel legends captain america for cool poses

It’s usually the big Marvel Select product that gets top ten votes. I’m surprised the Groot didn’t get a nod. While Starlord is poo poo’d on in that set all of the Guardians were pretty awesome. Groot and Rocket look fantastic together and the Drax and Gamora aren’t slouches either. Cool accessories and a spacey base make them pretty sweet. The Dr. DOOM and throne were a sweet offering from Marvel Select too. Yes a soft goods cake would have made sitting better but I love his drinking from a chalice hand. Of course more recent offerings like Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, and Captain America are also great Select figures. That Select Juggernaut has to be the heaviest action figure I own. I’m sure it’s lighter than Haslab Sentinel and Galactus but in hand it kind of feels like a push.
Just the point. Fake or kale doesn't mean bad if it's what people can afford her are comfortable with. I still absolutely love KO Transformers I have. Beautiful, and cost like a third the price. So I got more than I planned on period And if I'm not keep them in boxes

I have the venom select and I agree it looks great but it gives the phrase "2 left feet" a whole new meaning and not a good one ( he has a left calf and foot on his right leg and it bothers the heck out of me)
I feel Marvel Select Spider-man FFH upgraded suit needs some props. Hasbro's offerings were very disappointing and the range of the articulation was the best spidey figure under $30(at the time) until Retro. He sorta scales with the ML figures if you think of him as a tall adult Peter Parker.

With the added bonus that all three bases combined to get a splattered Silver Surfer The Ultimates WWII Captain America The Punisher Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider Planet Hulk Classic Green Goblin Ultimates Iron Man Plus aforementioned Thanos, Juggernaut Marvel Select were(until they started putting in crap articulation like ab crunch & swivel joints in th kegs that totally ruined the costume flow) just like DC Direct/Collectibles wher sculpt > articulation
I think the marvel select Sabertooth is the best by far and scales perfectly with X men marvel legends, Hasbro has dropped the ball several times making a good Sabertooth it lacks in height and width.

If diamond select would just add in some more articulation to their figures they can seriously give Hasbro a run for their money.
There is probably a legal reason that they can’t as they’d compete too much with Hasbro and they’d cannibalise each others sales.

Today I received my Marvel select Juggernaut and I'm pretty pleased with it. Absolute giant.
The lady death that came with that Thanos is not articulated! She is a statue. she is packaged in with him instead of him coming with a base.

Hulkbuster knockoffs are also quite frequent, that's why you can find him for cheap. Look for lack of gold color on the legs.

I wonder what age group these toy companies usually target? In the last 2-3 yrs. they've definitely stepped up their game and spent more time on paint and selecting new characters. I need a Blue Marvel figure ASAP! Why hasn't he been put into production? Uncool for MARVEL to exclude him yr. after yr.🍻

Marvel Select were(until they started putting in crap articulation like ab crunch & swivel joints in th kegs that totally ruined the costume flow) just like DC Direct/Collectibles wher sculpt > articulation

I think it's a tie for Hulk buster with the legends, but the re release is all shiny so it's better now
I think the marvel select Sabertooth is the best by far and scales perfectly with X men marvel legends, Hasbro has dropped the ball several times making a good Sabertooth it lacks in height and width.
