Made campain with these 2+ enhanced reactors atd when you try fix engine in movement you will loose your libs( funniest was when multiple people to fix it and failed and we were trying to fighre ou who was missing witch hand)
The other day I was playing on a vanilla server, but the host was feeling quirky, so he made the electricution damage 4 times bigger. So, I was just fixing a junction box when I got my first electricution. As usual, it stunned me, but thankfully, I didn't die from that. As I was chilling on the floor, our mechanic comes by and asks if I'm okay, and I'm like "yeah, sure". THE VERY MOMENT he leaves the room, I get electricuted again and this time I'm knocked out and speeding to heavens gates like I'm an average motorcycle owner. Around 30 seconds later, our medic shows up. He was fighting for my life for about 10 minutes, with me collapsing in and out of my critical condition. Other crewmen needed to deconstruct some clothes to gather material for bandages (because obviously we were poor and didn't have any). He won. Chad doc.
This mod is in the Deathwish modpack on steam, I highly recommend everyone to try it out. With it, Barotrauma turns from "haha, morphine go brrrr", to a game I believe many will enjoy. (also i advise to turn off enhanced reactors as practically no sub is build to accommodate for the heat the reactor outputs)
Bro I have this mod the reactor mod and the immersive diving suits,and my beloved real sonar and to add complete schizophrenia feel gameplay I added neurotrauma, I play with 4 friends they hate me for this modpack
I remember playing with this mod. I had a mod that made humans have less health like you would die with a head shot to the head anyway we had a hull breach and our sub filled with water because in this mod if stuff gets broken it starts to shock you and I think you know where this is going. And the worst part is we played on a battery based sub (No Reactor) so our battery slowly died while we were busy trying not to die to the fr*cking electricity. 10/10 mod made me lose my sanity.
I use no items on spawn mod so that I won't have extra guns that come with enchanted armaments mod and I use Low TTK for realistic health. (One crowbar to the head is enough to pass out a guy with no helmet.)
Now add a navigation mod where you have to deal with thermal water blankets that distort your sonar. Hz modulator to balance what you can see and detect better (environment, monsters, specific caches) High energy ping upgrade will allow you to see clearer and way farther. Costing the need for a super capacitor, high maintainance/cool down, and will kill your crew if there is a hull breach.
I can't imagine a team that could complete even one mission with this mod. The condition of the submarine in this game is divided into two types: 1. Everything is calm. The submarine is in excellent condition. Rare malfunctions are quickly resolved by engineers and mechanics. 2. The entire submarine is completely destroyed. The submarine's hull is practically gone. The condition of the electrical and mechanical components is approximately 0%. Unfortunately, during the course of the campaign, the second option will somehow happen from time to time. This mod in its first version adds more routine for engineers and mechanics, forcing them to spend money and resources on more consumables. In the second option, it makes restoring the boat almost impossible.
I feel a similar way, I like about half of these features (such as the welding and air filter/oil maintenance) but the fast flooding in tandem with the recent-ish pressure damage update and the electricity mechanic makes me think it's far too tedious for me to want to use in my games. Respect for those who can make it through the Hydrothermal Wastes with these mechanics, but couldn't be me and my RP-heavy crew. I'd love a lite/casual version of this mod so being a mech can be a bit more involved without a giant spineling and a pod of hammerheads ending my career
i used it with a group of friends and its easier than you think. the mechanic and engineer liked it as it gave extra things todo than walk around and repair random stuff constantly. though i guess we like playing with a lot of hardcore mods. (neurotrauma is still too annoying for us tho so we dont use it, somehow the medic doesnt mind it)

Really surprised at how many realism mods this game has. "Real" radar, Neurotrauma, and this would make for a good "simulation" mode. Too bad the A.I. wouldnt be able to work with it.
we used this on a sub called weller man and i was the only mechanic and the engi was too busy with the reactor. i had to do some „very slight“ multi tasking TIP: if you run out of engine oil you can let the engine break down then start repairing ( without doing the little minigame whilst repairing ) and then the captain can drive during your repair so you outheal the damage during the repair

Everything alongside getting shafted by random monsters. The possibilities of not only making players suffer, but also have them learn to be an electrician
I like what they did with Fixfoam. Now it’s no longer an instant fix, it’s kicking the can down the road in order to deal with more important things, ie. the half a dozen Threshers currently eating you alive.
Yeah I didn't like it at first, but it makes more sense - and maybe even better than the old fix foam grenades. Sometimes using a welding tool takes so fucking long, especially with repeated damage in the same spot.
We've been playing this, with the whole deathwish package, neurotrauma real sonar you name it It's the most fun I've ever had in this game, Ive started to upload clips from our misadventures - it's unreal There comes a point where you add enough of this shit and it becomes a different kind of fun just to survive - and it's actually not so annoying or anything, respect the game mechanics and you can get by, but ofcourse there are many resets :D Glad to have the friends to play this with

To be honest, this mod gives you new challenges to overcome and harsh punishment for misplays AS WELL as new cool tools to dominate them. The foam sprayer, autorepairs etc allow you to react quickly abd avoid catastrophic situations. One of the comments compared it to neurotrauma and it's not even close, Immersive Repairs is literally neurotrauma if it was fair. Over day changed my opinion in 180°, from despising this mod to wanting actually try it
A lot of the items honestly look great, BUT: mod authors really are not game designers, and the first part of the video illustrates that well. Designing engaging gameplay that isn't frustrating is a difficult task. What seems like a reasonable addition because e.g. it's like that IRL might simply ruin the fun in a myriad ways. It might be "Immersive" but that is not really a good reason to add it to the game.
There’s a minor problem with your malachite submarine, The door between the Barracks and medley makes the NPc stuck on the ladder… I had to remove the whole door on the submarine editor just to fix it cuz npc gets stuck there for reason.
The screen shouldn't go black when welding without a mask, it should be brightening up to a damn flashbang as you stare into the minitature sun seal up cracks in your hull.
What i want to say when you can spent the whole day after one big breach and 100 skill are required F if you meet abyss creatures ladder absolutly op, i want separete mod with only ladder p.s. i hope DRILL DOESNT F***ING JAM!!! (payday2 flashbacks)

Great, what's next, immersive diving? You need to move slow otherwise your lungs will explode, you'll also be freezing your ass off probably. Maybe then immersive weapons, guns will not fire after being underwater, guns will jam, you also will need to clean and oil them part by part, so they shot, if not maybe the gun will jam or just explode in your face. Also add overheating that will damage your hands with burn.

The most real mod is to remove aggresuive fauna and alliens. They do not exist irl.

鑽頭 是很酷啦,但是深海下壓力爆表的裸露礦物、往往極度堅硬且表面光滑,要打鑽可不是簡單的事情,而且比陽極離子切割還要快也不太可能
船體維修變困難這點不感苟同,畢竟都上木星了,有個集成式的維修銲槍做為未來裝備很正常
各部件出現損壞就爆炸這點有點...,畢竟只是浸水,電器都有短路保護的裝置,作為潛艇的設備有相當的防水能力也很正常,不如說應該添加的是可以手動"暫時"中斷電器防止觸電的功能
然後很不錯的是維修噴漆槍,雖然遊戲內已經有了維修手榴彈可以止水,但可以衝過去噴漆還是很酷的,CO2手榴彈也是,雖然已經有了滅火彈 ,不過很酷,不知道人能不能呼吸呢?
自動維修...我感覺到上次某位辛苦做出的自動丟出維修手榴彈的MOD 反而有返璞歸真的實際感
保險箱...應該是PVP才會出現的問題吧
