Crowbar's increased damage from talents, they take as if the increased damage is their base damage. meaning if you add melee damage increase, like 100% from hammerhead gene, it will increase from 300% of original damage to 600%
Amazing how every class has a relatively unique way of causing an unholy amount of damage. Then there's Engineer, graduating from the "Dead Space" class of Engineer combat.

Honestly, I'm quite fond of the fact that the Crowbar is a.. decent melee option, the RFA being a fairly solid weapon (and rather cheap to maintain, tbh), and the PUCS giving huge radiation, fire, husk resistance? While also having an auto-injector, AND not using oxygen when inside of oxygenated environments? Good stuff!

Anytime I play Baro I like to indulge in my Half-Life fantasy of beating up everything with crowbars in a HEV suit because it's stupidly fun to me, especially prying doors open when people try to hide from the crowbar wrath.

With Danger Zone it says it gives an additional 50% radiation resistance to the Hazmat Suit, which already has 60%. Does this mean the wearer with the talent will be immune to radiation with 110% rad resistance?
Not sure but I would guess it is multiplying the remainder. With the suit on you only get 40% of the radiation, 50% of 40% is 20%, so resistance goes from 60% to 80%. You are still doubling the length of time you can withstand the radiation. 100% would be infinite time, more than 100% wouldn't make sense.
Nah it works multiplicatively. So it will be like the radiation is reduced by 50%, then that value is reduced by 60%. Resistances in baro can never reach 100% as they just keep reducing the new value
I appreciate the replies. I wish the team would just establish what the resistance becomes with a new base number instead of saying an additional percentage but not clarifying that it's a percentage of the original stat being added.

can you help me confirm something. a while ago (pre-1.0, like just before it dropped) i couldve sworn that lightning wizard's counter-stun effect also worked when monsters attacked the ship, and thereby damaged by through blunt force when the ship is jolted. i mean, i'd be standing there, the ship would get hit, i would briefly be ragdolled for like .1 seconds, i see a little electrical spark come off me, and i hear the ship guns stop firing cuz my friends think the monster died, and then after a few seconds they start shooting again cuz the stun wears off im guessing, i didnt exactly go out with a med scanner to check, yknow?
The skills are your Helm, Electrical Engineering, Weapons etc. Having higher skill gain lets you get these to great levels much sooner, you can make your character a "jack of all trades" and be able to do all the basic jobs, and it helps you recover after your character dies and you lose some of your skills.

It took me and my friends 3 tries to figure out that thr endworm doesnt destroy our ship instantly, it was outselves
