Incredible trip! I'm sorry that you had so many issues with the Stelvio, luckily Guzzi quality got better in the last few years (still behind the big 4, though). Valve adjustment and throttle bodies maintenance are very important
@@2Upon2WheelsI want it to be me and in the winters when my trusty and dependable Yamaha I can sometimes fool myself it is me. After all, I like working on the bike when nothing is going on (beats shoveling snow). But then the riding season starts and I turn into the same rider I always become: he who only works on the bike on days when it is impossible to ride. So because of this, no Guzzi for me. Unless the new Stelvio can be different.
The flight was to Birchwood, Alaska. It was nice meeting you both.

Was nice meeting you both in Dearborn, MI! Had the pleasure of eating a burger at Miller's with you 😃
Miller's was one of our favorite watering holes. Right up there with the Salty Dog in Homer.
@@2Upon2Wheels I've actually been there too lol .. pretty sure I saw Jewel's dad open mic there
Taking the guzzi on the next trip?
Yes. The perfect adventure bike is the one you have.
So what I am hearing is do not buy a Moto Guzzi
It takes a special Individual to own a Guzzi. That may not be you.

Never buy an Italian vehicle. Should have taken a KLR650.
Two up on a KLR 22,000 miles. .. right. Great idea.
Nothing wrong with Italian vehicles, they just have some quirks and foibles. I own 2 cars and 1 motorcycle. Love them.
@@tdp460 You must have very low standars.
