My first power rangers series was Power Rangers Samurai when it was airing as a new show, the start of a new era at this point. I remember watching it every chance I got at my grandparent's house, and it drew me in to the franchise. Of course, now I don't necessarily believe it was the best introduction to the franchise, but my love for the show grew from there. I remember my mom getting Netflix for us years ago and I binged for years every series from MMPR all the way up to Megaforce after she got it. My friends even drew me in to Super Sentai and Kamen Rider throughout the time I binged everything, and it became a staple for me when I wanted to relax and watch something fun. Lots of fond memories that I truly cherish since this show has become a major part of my childhood. Since then, I've watched almost everything in the Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises, and I've even been able to collect a couple morphers, get some posters, etc., any way to connect me to my childhood somehow and maintain that special place I have in my heart for the show.

Growing up as a 2000’s kid I definitely took for granted how great I had it that we went from Ninja Storm to Dino Thunder to SPD. All 3 being serious heavy hitters especially Dino Thunder bringing back Tommy Oliver and how good he was as being the black ranger. Also the Ninja Storm and Dino thunder cross over was super cool as well as the Dino thunder and SPD crossover

My first time with Power Rangers was Samurai in the Neo-Saban era. I watched a few episodes as a kid until my mother made me stop because she thought it was for boys, yet a few years ago I met friends who were into Power Rangers and encouraged me to watch the two seasons in full. For as silly and simple as the show was, I really loved it. Now one of those friends who encouraged me is sharing his favorite seasons from his childhood, starting with Wild Force.

Jungle Fury. Disney Era. I'm like 90% sure Samurai was airing at that point, but we didn't have cable, so we just watched what we could on Netflix. And in my case, that was Jungle Fury. A fantastic show that taught me to respect animals, to listen when your teacher tells you to do something weird, and to want cool forearm muscles.

S.P.D. is probably one of the best ones. They always had different settings which made the show feel new & fresh. They always had plot twist & stuff going on that just kept you interested instead of being a basic formula show like with A-squad leaving & the B-Squad replacing them to Kruger revealing he’s a ranger to him revealing he had a wife that was “death” which later was revealed that she wasn’t. To Sky having a Ranger father wearing a time force red outfit. To Sam from earlier in the season having his future self going to save the B-squad rangers from dying. To Cat turning into the Cat ranger (for one episode unfortunately). To the nova ranger appearing. To the A-Squad rangers turning out to be evil. That show had so much going on in it. Loved Jack’s story too of his whole story going full circle to him doing what he wanted to do from the start. That automatically makes me like that era of PR so much.

The Post Zordon era was the most fascinating to me, because it established some major things:
    1) the Z-Wave missed villains who were either in hiding or beyond its reach
    2) It establishes how villains are sometimes created
    3) the time force season established that even centuries in the future the fight is still waging
    4) The Morphin grid could be harnessed by humans to create powers, and the design of the suits appeared to be inspired by the threats the Rangers for that season were facing
    5) It more firmly establishes that "Rangers are people first" and gave the characters real honest flaws and arcs to develop them. They were no longer five random kids sitting at a juice counter, but rather more deliberate selection for being Rangers

I grew up watching Power Rangers: Wild Force. Actually, it was the last episodes of Time Force on Fox Kids, all of a sudden I remember the channel changing to Jetix here in Chile, where I watched all the seasons until Overdrive, SPD being my favorite.
Came back to watching PR on Beast Morphers, and I'm pretty exited for PR's future, considering they're finally doing a continuity with the same cast from Dino Fury. I've seen people being mad at the fact that they're using less and less sentai footage/material, but I think it's great that its finally splitting ways into something more ''original'', I just hope they don't screw it up.

I live outside of America so having shows like that are few and it airs on a different channel that I didn't know and way later compared to other kid/teen shows. It's timeslot is 6 pm in ours. I was honestly relieved that I apparently watched it fron the beginning to the end. I remember using a phone with an antenna to watch the show live when we were away from home. Dino Thunder was the show I grew up on, which I think is in the Disney Era, and the one I know the most out all their PR lineup. It was my first time meeting Tommy, my first time getting into seeing teens fight evil, and more. After JDF's death, I always think back to Dino Thunder and I find it to be the best show due both Tommy being a mentor and Mesagog being a cunning and terrifying villain when I was a kid. @@RheemQ I say it’s underrated cuz there are many people who only love the very early era of power rangers (basically the shows that include cast members from mmpr).
I also thought the disney era was dope tho. I was 8 when Wild Force came out and I felt that series captured some magic that I hadn’t felt since the Zordon era. Ninja Storm was sick too

I watched the series when it originally premired, and the first 3 eras were the series at its best. Hasbro has done a good job thus far as well. The Neo Saban era was mixed with a terrible start but ended decently. Though Samuari was OK.

VIDEO IDEA: I Like To Disagree That Lost Galaxy Should Be Included In The Zordon Era! Its A LOT more connected to In Space and even Zordon in a subtle way (powering the Quasar Sabers), it still has cast like Bulk (and cameo of Skull), Alpha, the Astroship, Karone, the Pshyco Rangers and other stuff like the DOPE In Space crossover episode connected directly to prior seasons. Compering that to what follows with Lightspeed Rangers and onwards, you can see a HUGE difference, and imo thats where the total "Reset" happens! Ik almost everyone when they talk about the Zordon era, they dont include it and I really never saw why thats the popular opinion.

My first series & one I still hold onto my heart is Lightspeed Rescue in the Post-Zordon era.
Given a few VHS tapes of a few key episodes (namely the beginning, the Red Ranger’s PTSD from the fire & the intro of the titanium ranger) & it was a new story with no ties to past seasons + Young Adults with cool jobs rather than “teenagers with attitude” meant that it was more serious & more dangerous, but also fitting public service heroes become superheroes with actual training involved.
Lightspeed Rescue has always been largely forgotten about in popularity among Ranger seasons, but it’s definitely worth giving it a watch for newer fans to see how it can really work in serious storytelling, while still being lighthearted in the team’s antics.
