    So stoked for this video! Thank you Jeff for showcasing the wonderful Harlow Lake area trails in Marquette! I wished BKXC had also ridden Harlow Lake, he did hit Chunder Muffin (Noquemanon South trails) and you definitely need to hit up Chunder Muffin when you return to the UP! You’re truly the real deal TrailBoss, you’re right there are some “fake news” trail boss videos out there! Thanks again and best wishes bro!

    For sure my favorite trail in the Marquette area! Thanks for being the first (that I've seen) to have a high-quality, stabilized POV of Bareback. I can't wait to see the uphill version!

    Dude. This is the only time I’ve seen you suffer on a ride. Thanks for keeping it REAL. Mtb‘ Ing is not all hoots and hollers but the grind as well. And like the rest of us... some days you feel it and others you wonder how you can even balance on a bike

      The Middle Aged Masher thanks! I was gonna edit all that out and I figured screw it. I’ll leave it in. I rode halfway down the first trail telling the guys I was over it and didn’t want to ride anymore but the said screw it it. They can’t all be winners. Lol.

    Jeff, I enjoyed watching you in a defeated energy state for a change! I just so happen to catch up on this video and remember watching some of the other stuff you filmed in the area trying to climb up a really tough set of slab rock features. I'd seen it a few months ago so I don't recall exactly which video it was but I know it was in this Upper Peninsula area. It just nice to see someone in the upper echelon struggling after having performed great technical Feats earlier in the day... You're no different than anyone else in that we all have a limited amount of energy to put out. These are definitely some nice trails and outside the normal expectations for representing an area of Interest. People don't usually think of going to Michigan for mountain biking, but I lived there once and visited the UP long before I was into mountain biking. I recognize the entirely different landscape there that consists of nice rocks & mountainous Terrain. It's just too bad that there are so many places to go and it's a hassle to try to bring a bike everywhere. It's costly flying and it's time consuming to drive, but of course the price is always worth it once you get to experience the destinations.

    I’ve watched your ride a lot of crazy & fun looking trails. This is definitely the one I have to ride though! Just have to get there from San Diego at some point. I’m stoked to see the climbing vid. If it was hard for you it must be near impossible

    Funny I rode this a few days before you while visiting from out of town. I wondered while I was climbing up there and suffering if even Jeff Lenosky could clean some of that stuff. Good to know it was as challenging as I thought it was.

    This one looks rough! I’m getting tired just watching it. Though it’s good to have rides like this every so often.

      Jeff Lenosky you just popped up in my feed. The era of the “typical” bike warrior has finally arrived. It’s about time.

    • @Vitusvonatzinger
      @Vitusvonatzinger 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      And by “typical” I mean alot of different things; all athletes peak based upon particular factors, and all elites will eventually re-join the ranks of what I call the typical. This is only a bad thing in the minds of people who either have delusions of elite status, or who idiotically assume they are never going to age. I hope this makes sense.

    • @Vitusvonatzinger

      Seeing an elite rider like yourself going through an experience like this is very anti-bullshit. I’m untalented in all the bicycle disciplines, so attempting anything is a struggle.
