Yeah bro, Awesome riding!!! On the list for next season for sure, 3rd wrist surgery this Tues so if the weather holds I gotta send it @ spirit or giants.
That section at 6:20 was dope! Bertha looked pretty heavy. Craziest part to me is that jump up to a skinny to drop. Crazy shit. Killer riding as always!
That section was cool, a few different lines to choose from. I think that thing worried Jess when we were going up and looking at stuff but it didn’t really sketch me out at all. I was more worried about the high speed gaps with little sniper landings haha
@@ridindirt 225 is my new favorite trail! The right most line is definitely the jankiest, I prefer the middle line. I think they added a new feature to the trail sometime in October, because I don't see it in your video (unless it's there and I'm just not seeing it). The massive rock to the right side after the trail crossing now has a boardwalk approaching it so you can roll down it! Super fun.
I'm a local and if I remember correctly I'm pretty sure the trails that aren't on the map are basically more or less ride at your own risk. Other than that I don't know of any other reasons some of these more gnarly trails are not on the map. It is something I have actually never asked Doug
@@ridindirt a lot of the trails seem to be widening up. And fat bike trails seem to be growing. I've went fat biking on north trails with my friend. He had a Pugsly for me to ride. It was a blast crashing in the snow too 😂. Shenanigans! It is a beautiful place for sure.
Thinking about sending Bertha pretty soon here, any tips on any of the features? Places where you should definitely brake a bit or get a few extra cranks in?
It all goes! I was slightly brake checking between pretty much every big drop up top. You’re going so fast that it feels right to brake check a little and you really don’t need to pull up. That last jump to 21’ drop that I reference before I go down the trail is a little weird with speed. If you clear the jump definitely hit the brakes a bit. Such a sick trail!
It ends at Marquette Mt Road just west of 225 Resurrection Trail. There’s a climb trail from the to get to the top. It’s on Trailforks if you have that.
Just getting around to your more recent vids. Goddamn dude, major hitters on Bertha and HT Pride. Would you rate Marquette above Duluth? Great vids and phenomenal riding as always dude.
EH Line is pronounced "A" Line like Yooper for Eh? Its a play on BC's "A-Line" trial. A-Line=Eh, Line. Great vid btw. and after I type this I see down in the comments that has already been taken care of. Well, if you need help pronouncing "Pastie" let me know and I'll try to get that done for you. Welcome to the UP, eh!
Big Bertha looks like the hardest freeride line I’ve seen in the Midwest! Killer riding on some heavy features!
Thanks dude. It’s no joke
E-H Line... sounds like a Yooper's A-Line
Ha! Forgot about Yooper. Nice
Eh is a play on A -line at whistler because yoopers pronounce eh like A
Totally. I figured that out today haha
All of this riding looks like its a blast! Keep sending it!
Hell yeah, will do! 🤙🏻
Dang! Just watching that wood feature line was giving me anxiety, can't imagine riding it! lol
Hahaha it’s big man! I was definitely nervous about it.
Nice sends you guys! Marquette is legit! Wanna get back out there now that I’m dialed up a bit.
Yeah dude. So much awesome trail! I wanna go back too. Still a lot more to explore and just wanna ride stuff like these trails again

@@flyingfish555 hell yeah dude! Really fun trail! Great mix of tech and flow. Cool they’re still making improvements too 🤙🏻
Just rode EH Line and Down Dogger but I wanna hit 225 resurrection soon and one day work up to HT Pride and Bertha
All amazing trails! Ht pride flows so good. Bertha has some pretty serious hits. 225 is on of my favorite trails, a great mix of tech and flow
@@ridindirt Do you have any other recommendations for the area?
@@blehbushka9940 I thought Gorge-ous and No Dab were cool. Jawbone in the bike park is a blast too
that looks so fun if only I could drive to go to places like this
Oh it’s so fun! 🙌🏻

That’s kinda what I figured. Love the trails there! Seems like a cool place to live too

i am new rider well, i have been riding awhile but never on a real bike until now but i still cant bunny hop any tips?
Push down into your suspension and then rip up.
How do you get to bertha?? I cant find it on a map.

Yoooo my guy what tires do you ride up in Marquette? Im gonna be spending a good amount of summer up there. Is it a lot of hardpack or softer dirt?
I ride maxxis minions always, dhf and dhr. The dirt is pretty soft for the most park there.

Sick riding & video!! It’s pronounced eh line, eh. Not E H😅
Lol yup I know now 🤦🏼♂️
Niiiiice
🤙🏻
Hell yeah! Sick Shred Day! Bertha for some reason does not seem like the appropriate name for that trail!
For sure, thanks! Also known as Big Bertha which is probably more fitting
Have you ever had to call a heli for somebody with a leg injury? #Legprotection is smarter.
I have not haha
