Heads up for next time.....Your route was kinda opposite of how most downhill orientated locals ride Harlow Lake area. Climb Who Cooks For You (your last descent) to Bareback / Mclovin junction (rock slab overlook). Then you can descend either Mclovin or Bareback towards Harlow Lake. If your feeling froggy take Harlow Lake rd to Top of the world climb then descend Doc Nobbs or The Jedi. Both come out on two track that leads back to the gravel parking lot off 550. Or just take Harlow lake rd to Rickles back to parking area.
That was wild man! Michigan’s B.C. is a very fitting name for this place. Definitely has a similar look to some of the spots I’ve been out to throughout B.C.. awesome work man
Bareback to Mclovin is some true chunder. I walked most of it and, rode what I could. Sweet view from atop. Due to a mechanical on Stumpjumper I used a full rigid Salsa. The bike still hasn't forgiven me.
Yes for sure! Definitely realized that after riding. A local recommended this route when we were up there, but looks like even trail forks recommends the other direction
We did the hike a bike through mclovin to bareback and the view was amazing.
Great video!! Just rode Harlow (including McLovin to Bareback) this last week and it was incredible. Some impressive country and scenery. Fun stuff!!
agreed! hard to believe thats Michigan!

Dang! That would be quite the ride on a full rigid bike!
yeah! 🔥
The first 2 trails ride better the opposite direction. You should ride that entire loop the other way.
