    I like how android users are on this video, when you obviously have a problem with apple. You like what you like. Do you have an updated android? Okay cool, we have an updated iphone. Some just can't get out of an apple bubble, and did you ever think that most courses in college require a mac? APPLE!! Get off your high horse and just go watch a different video.

    • @deathknight75
      @deathknight75 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My college courses were on PC, because they were IT related and PCs are still the vast majority (also Apple's really picky about that sort of training on their devices).

      Computer engineer here. I would like to say that while both Apple and Microsoft computers are great, Microsoft is still the choice to go in many applications rather than Apple. MAC's are great for video and sound editing, production and other related applications in the field of graphics, but expect to see some PC's too. I bet your degree in college has to deal with the fields I just mentioned. All of the courses in college have to be cross platform compatible because not everyone owns a MAC, unless you have a specific course in the video, sound or graphics field in which MAC's is preferable, in the latter case a lab has to be provided by the school where the students will have access to MAC's and be able to get HW done. I can go on and on about the different applications of both operating systems, I personally deal with all the version of Windows, OS X and Linux. It all boils down to applications and the fact that they all need hardware to be run on. I also love the way I can customize an Android phone over the Iphone.

      +Herbert Sanchez it's also very good for photography fields. Mostly because all the good software are for Mac. My dad is a computer engineer (in a way) himself, so what ever I have is the best for my usage.

      I studied computer science and we NEVER even had to touch an Apple product. In fact, most softwares we ran didn't even have an equivalent on Apple products. Windows/Linux is still a higher priority than Apple's stuff when it comes to critical things.

    Never mind iPhone's battery lasts *WAY* longer than any of Androids.

    • @derekonlinenow777
      @derekonlinenow777 10 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      really? mine is just 200 dollars and it lasts for almost 2 days/

    • @JoshIgbinijesu
      @JoshIgbinijesu 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It lasts for 2 days if you do nothing on it. There is no standard measurement on how long phones last. That's why there so much variety in result. On a chart, for example, you may notice that the Galaxy S5 lasts longer than the 5S. However, because there is no standard, like I said, how they go about measuring it varies. Galaxy the power suck of all of its phones features at the lowest to see how long it lasts while Apple does the exact opposite. And yet at the end of the day, Apple battery life is only surpassed by a few hours.

    • @derekonlinenow777
      @derekonlinenow777 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Josh Eti no, it lasts two days if I do everything on it..but I am using a low end phone but the battery is pretty powerful so may be thats why.

    • @derekonlinenow777

      The term 'most phones' does not include iPhones, *****, which currently use Lithium-ion batteries, which currently provides the best performance.

    It says that you need 4.7GB to download, but my iPhone 5c only has 5GB, and why would anyone delete almost everything on there phone for a few slightly more convenient ways to use it... Personally I only see 1 or 2 things that I would genuinely use... Please say someone agrees with me :)

      FunkPlaysHD | Uploads a bit shaky until 2nd October! :3 Sync your iPhone or iPad to the computer and download iOS 8 directly from there. This won't suck up any space on your device, and you can manually transfer the new software back to your device.

    I think the biggest secret of them all is how iPhone is only so expensive because it's name brand.

    • @TheNerdWizard
      @TheNerdWizard 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's expensive because everything is closed sourced. It's expensive to make software for them, but super cheap to make the same thing for android.

      No, people work on open source stuff for free. Pretty sure, I could be wrong. But what I do know for sure that its cheaper to make stuff for android devices then apple.

    • @Flames5123
      @Flames5123 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Although the Android is more customizable, Apple does things a lot cleaner. If they add a feature, most of the time, they make it look and feel nice. They don't just add features that work half the time. Also, Apple's main focus is on ease of use. Being able to just pick up an iPhone and figure it out, rather than dig through menu after menu in the Android OS. Albeit, Android does have a lot of good customization, but Apple likes to perfect a feature before moving on to the next.

    i'm happy that the iphones now are catching up to android stuff as far as most of these features go. the part that confuses me and annoys me is when apple shows it off as some glorious new thing. instead, they should be saying, "and yeah, we finally added it. woo!"

    • @grant8610
      @grant8610 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Apple will never catch up. Android phones are being upgraded and remodeled constantly by a large number of companys. Apple on the other hand, only produces one type of phone every couple years with a couple new upgrades.

    • @NickJeremiah
      @NickJeremiah 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** There is not such thing as "Catching up". Just because X phone has a certain feature, doesn't mean Y phone has to have it too.

      @NickJeremiah 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      But there's no "set size" that any phone needs to be. If Samsung want a 6 inch phone they can make one. If Apple wants a 4 inch phone they can make one. 4.7 inches is hopefully the largest iPhones ever get. Any larger and I may as well buy an iPad Mini!

    If some of you don't like iPhones, and you like Android phones better, then that is great! Buy those instead. I really don't understand why people complain about things they don't have, just enjoy what you have.

    Im pretty sure that I have TH-cam in these new settings as "do not refresh in background" yet my TH-cam just refreshed .-. That's probably my only gripe when it comes to Apple vs Android.

    I'm not here to preach the glory of Android, i'm just glad that apple is branching out from its old format, adding things that, although have been on android for a bit, are new to die hard iphone users. Also, to those saying that iphone users are part of "the iphone cult", shut up. Every single thing in the world has a cult like following. From cars, to television, to video games, to movies, and of course to tech. But I digress, I am happy for apple for reaching for new heights and branching it's OS to new places. And although i do use a Nexus 5 and dont plan to switch to iphone, the iphone 6 has definitely intrigued me, good job.

    I remember when phones were used for calling, and if you had cool games it was a bonus. I may sound old but im only 19, people care so much about features on a phone that are just for show, and to be honest kind of gimmicky. That said, technology rocks!

    I don't see any huge issues with iOS, but it's just not my thing. I hate using Apple software because it's just so locked down. Android has a lot more freedom, you can shape your experience as you see fit. Want a purple system tray? On android, a few keystrokes in the SDK can make that a reality. On iOS, that desire would make good old Siri look at you and laugh.
