Pulling out wasn't the issue. It was pulling the military without removing civilians and equipment first.

Trump removed all the troops except for 2500 before he left office. Shouldn't he have evacuated civilians & equipment simultaneously?

Trump set a deadline of May 1st to evacuate American troops. Biden extended it to the end of August. Trump also negotiated the release of 5000 militant Taliban fighters, including the individual who has become the de facto president of Aghanistan. Trump didn't receive much in return.
There's no question that the Taliban would have filled the vacuum left by American and other troops who'd leave. This would have occurred under Biden, Trump, Obama or Bush. Now, the Taliban staged a blitzkrieg insurgency, surprising many by their speed. And, the Afghani government, including the self-exiled president and the commanders capitulated without a fight. They surrendered their weapons to the Taliban! They were rolled up as smoothly and rapidly as the French were when the Nazis smashed through France during WWII. If they couldn't muster the will to fight for their own rights and land, how can you expect America to hold their hand any longer? After twenty years and they're back to square one.
My heart goes out to anyone, especially the women, who will be subjected to the "tender mercies" of Sharia law. It is no surpise that so many Afghanis wish to leave and are panicking. The Biden administation is welcoming those Afghanis and their families who helped us, but the interesting thing is that a lot of Trumplicans are against allowing them shelter in their states, but at the same time decrying Biden for his "neglecting" Americans and their Afghani assistants who are still there. That's disingenuous. Biden will ensure that all of them are evacuated.
Biden and many Americans wanted out of this war, costly in terms of lives lost and trillions of dollars.
One huge problem was that the androcentric Afghani government never consulted or armed their women. Unlike the men, women have the most to lose under Sharia law. I doubt that they would have capitulated as rapidly as the men or surrendered their weapons.
Unless you expect America to stay in Afghanistan forever, this would have been a given. Can America evacuate all of the oppressed women or control the Taliban? Anyone who thinks so is delusional.

What would you have me say “yes I would send my child there” so I can be labeled a “bad parent” or “I would never send MY CHILD” and be labeled a hypocrite? it’s all just words to the ones making these choices but for the ones carrying them out....The mission sounds the same from both sides. What a disgrace. It's Viet Nam all over again. It seems we don't learn from our past mistakes.

      i didn’t know that one!
When you’re wounded and lying on Afghanistan’s plains
And the women come out to cut up your remains
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
And go to your God like a sojor
      Sojer h’of the Queen!

I dont get this. Middle eastern region ridden with terrorist groups will never have peace whether the US is involved or not. Withdrawing is for the US troops themselves and tax payers money stop pouring into these senseless wars. It was the goal we want all along since before Trump even. Why does anyone has to be responsible for a terrorist group terrorizing?
