Good work you guys are doing well
Pressure areas with bear hands????
Please in the case of a patient who's bedridden for too long and it happens that one of the pressure areas has developed a small wound, how will you go by it?
U will still treat pressure areas like daily and dress the pressure sore daily or alternate days depending on how clean the wound appears.
To prevent further pressure sores from developing ensure patient is turned to different positions every 2hrs and is supported with pillows where necessary. Providing meals rich in vit c and proteins will also help.
@@nursingart247 Thank youuuu
Thank you for making these videos 😊
Please the requirements you mentioned sponge but you didn't use it
Sponge will be used to wash bodily parts that are very dirty, so if u know the client already that he/she is clean then u won't need the sponge.
Very understanding due to the drama🎉
very educative
❤❤❤❤❤
❤ I love it but no gloves
Good job government workers
Thanks alot
I have learnt a lot but you mentioned sponge but you didn't use it why? and no gloves too
The sponge is used when u identify a very unclean part of the body that requires washing. Other than that u won't use the it, nonetheless it should be added to the items since u can't be too sure of what u will find.
For the glove... Use ur desecration. If u think there is something contagious abt touching the patient with bare hands then use gloves other than that its actually 'someway' (for lack of a better word) when using disposable gloves in wet procedures.
Nice
I have learnt a lot. thanks
🥰
We don't wear gloves, isn't it risky ???
Thank you.
But what if it's an incontinent patient and maybe the linen is soiled.
What do you do?
Then you do change of bottom sheet th-cam.com/video/Ex73jOQI1IU/w-d-xo.html and clean patient by bed Bath th-cam.com/video/33OuFax36AM/w-d-xo.html
So how are we going to know the pressure areas since you've taken the camera from there?
Ask again oo....The best thing was to mention the pressure areas before starting so the viewer can be aware of the parts you are treating ....Good job done by the way
Noted. Thanks
The jug of warm water is supposed to be on the bottom shelf
@@esenamjuliet2085 the placement of the jug has been a debate because different textbooks place them on different shelves. If you are a student I advice you go by the style your school is choosing. If you are a staff then understand different textbooks place them differently and NMC hasn't chosen sides yet (to the best of my knowledge). Thank u
Doing all that without gloves on?
Yes, you don't treat pressure areas with gloves on it causes friction. And moreover the patient didn't have wound we are only preventing the area from ulceration.
I also wanted to ask
It is wrong even if the patient has no wounds , those are the first PPE u have done , no procedure that is done in any health facility without gloves.
#Dr. Carlian
@@WeimaanaAkampaCarlianYes but however, there are some procedures that you're not supposed to wear gloves and this procedure is one of them
