How Much I Make on Fiverr Pro as a Full-Time Freelance Copywriter - My Analytics |

  • I spent way too long editing this and having mental debates about what I should and shouldn't share... but here it is! This is a very transparent look inside my analytics and earnings as an 'above average but not out of reach' full-time career freelancer on Fiverr Pro.
    As I mention in the video, I think that there's kind of a weird thing with freelancing/entrepreneurship/'hustling' in general that makes people want to promote a fake sense of perfection and ultimate achievement. Half the time it looks like a defense mechanism. Half the time it looks like a scam. (If you have actually achieved such boast-worthy perfection, please don't come at me.)
    I want to break things down and just be honest - this is what years of hard work realistically looks like in the freelance world and how it all pays off.
    Also, just to clarify -- the earnings that I'm sharing after AFTER Fiverr's 20% cut but BEFORE taxes. (Yes, you still have to pay taxes on Internet money.)
    (Go to 2:38 if you want to skip over my apologetic ramblings and little disclaimers.)
    I share:
    How many orders I have a day
    How much time I spend on orders
    How many total orders I've completed
    How many cancelled orders I have
    How many countries I've sold in
    How many buyers I have
    How many messages I get each day
    How long it takes me to respond to messages
    How much a single buyer has spent
    How many orders a single buyer has placed
    How many 5-star reviews I have
    How much I've earned since I started
    How much I've earned this month
    How much I earn every year
    And more...

    I just realized that there are still bold, confident and transparent people who aren't afraid to share their success and the process. For sure you didn't go viral overnight. The only way you can be so open about yourself is the effort it took you to bring yourself to success. Cause you aren't afraid of it being lost.

    I'm so happy I just came across your channel. I got a few jobs on UpWork in 2019 but have been thinking about using Fiverr to sort of restart my whole process. This was a really great look into what is possible to "rake in" over time. Though, to be honest, my goal is to be able to quit my current full time job....where I make less than $30k a year. So, my income goals are far from lofty! It would be nice to work 4 to 5 hours a day and not have my baby in daycare! ANYWAY...thanks for the content!

    The lack of repeat clients is nothing to do with you and more to do with Fiverr. The platform attracts a lot of first time entrepreneurs. They test the waters, don't get the desired result, never come back. It also attracts hobbyists who run out of whatever small budget they had. It's partly why I moved away from Fiverr and started getting my own clients. It's hard work up front but you have a better chance of retainer work since they are established and have a budget. Oh, and keep rambling. It's way more personable. Great work. Great personality.

    • @carrieblogger
      @carrieblogger  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      TRS isn’t an automatic process, it’s manual selection and the team is looking for very specific requirements to match what’s most important for the direction of the platform. When I received the badge back in 2014, it was paired with a message that editors were really impressed with my work and fast-growing position on the platform. It doesn’t happen automatically. Good luck!

    Hi Carrie, i want to become a freelance copywriter. I have been reading a lot about copywriting, but there are things i still don't get. I need to find a mentor. Is there a copywriting course you recommend?

    • @carrieblogger
      @carrieblogger  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My best advice is practice, practice, practice, PRACTICE. Even before you dive into copywriting strategy, you just need to be incredibly comfortable writing in any sense and have a bulletproof command of grammar.
      I do have a course on Fiverr Learn that you might be interested in. Use the code CARRIE25 to save 25%! Then, I would love it if you could leave a review for me on the platform as well. learn.fiverr.com/courses/e-commerce-copywriting-the-key-to-conversion?Carrie&FiverrLearn&

    I am just researching the idea of Copywriting as a sideline. As a GenerationX I am very late to the game, but no way was my writing even good enough for school. It has improved a lot over the decades though to the point where I now get positive comments about my work. Anyway, the reason for my post is to say I do not think I have ever subbed and hit the bell so fast. Finding a genuine person whilst searching on youtube for "how much do i earn copywriting on fiverr" without the quotes, is a result. I hope you never become a course seller, patreon maybe, but I hope not courses.

      That’s an impossible question to answer. 😅 First, your language proficiency and grammar skills have to be bulletproof. You need to be able to research and write with clarity, speed, and creativity. Finally, you need to have a strong understanding of sales psychology and market trends.
