Nice review! I've seen some others that just call it trash and say "get a Festool". You're right...depends on what you need it for. Thanks!

"If you're having trouble getting it in, just change positions until it slides in." Are we still doing phrasing this season? 😅
Great vid sweetie, it's nice to hear a review from the perspective of someone who's never had one of those tools and I'm grateful you shared it with us.

I just saw they are on sale on Amazon, so I added an affiliate link in the description for you. At less than 250 its worth it if you don't have one and you're on a budget. You're still going to need a battery though if you don't have any already. It's the tool only.

Ryobi sell "Accessory Tracks" for the longer runs. Maybe the way to go. 👍

Yes that would definitely be better than moving the shorter track, but I suspect I'll upgrade to a better at some point, so not sure if I want to to invest in extra parts for this one.

Hi, I’m curious did you contact Ryobi regarding the saw suddenly snapping back up? Perhaps they would send you a new saw to try out.

I did not. I guess for what I paid for it, combined with the fact that I will rarely change the blade on it, it just didn't occur to me to go through the hassle, and I'm content to just live with it like that since it performs well for what it's supposed to do. But you're right, I probably should have. I'll give them a call just to do due diligence and see what they say.

@@maverickdesignswoodworking yeah, a call is good, maybe an email is better. You have a paper trail. 😊
