when i use the serato virtual sound trick to record for some reason my headphones dont let me hear the cues for the 1st or 2nd track it only lets me hear the master cue, im on rekordbox dj. any help would be appreciated!!
I have the same issue!! Anyone @Crossfader has a workaround??
/CMD/Control + Z (aka Undo) is a crucial trick, but there's also a setting in Serato to prevent you from loading a track onto a playing channel.
Lol talk about 30 tips i djyed from TH-cam on 31st it was like a sudden thing but i pulled it of by browser tabs as an dj deck and TH-cam volume as my volume faders coz i was invited as a guest and the guy they told to dj had no idea about DJing so i jumped on it and played tracks from TH-cam straight cz they had litrelly 4 tracks 1hr pre mix 😂😂
@crossfader Can you please explain or post a work around for recording streaming service music and yet still be able to use your headphones for cueing. Thanks- because when I do this trick I cant cue music on my headphones

is the spotify to beatsource only usefull for controller djs?
Have you found a way to echo out the stems with rekordbox?
Does creating a new multi output device only work on apple laptops or can it be done on Windows?

For recording on Rekordbox, it works. But I can’t hear the cue track in my headphones while it’s recording?
How to make cues sound always at tempo? Needs a quantize or something?

you can't since you dont own the tracks. You can use a irig 2 for such task

I need help with getting my cue headphones to work when i try the rekordbox hack using the Serato virtual audio driver when trying to record mixes with streamed music. for some reason no audio plays out of my headphones when I go to cue up a song. does anyone know what steps I am missing?

Nothing can beat two technics sl1210 turntables and a box of good vinyl records.
Aside from some of the playlist hacks...unless you use Serato, Rekordbox & CDJs, this video was pointless. I understand that a large part of the market uses this stuff and you have to cater to that, but there is also a large portion of the market that does not and well I skipped through most of it because as a Traktor user it was irrelevant, and I'm sure VDJ, Engine DJ, DJ Pro AI, and others feel the same way.
Please in future videos like this try to cater to a wider audience.

If electronic music files had existed when the term 'DJ' came into use, do you think we'd have a different name for somebody who chooses and blends tracks together using equipment? My guess is, yes, we would have a different name for it. So, the term DJ doesn't HAVE TO only mean using discs. Yagetmeh?
