What I love about this song is the lyrical part, it's more of a song to connect with, than to jam to it, it's a song to hear the lyrics and lift you up, make you feel that you're not alone, I get it, it's not something I would hear just to rock out.

Alter Bridge is an amazing band & I love them! I love this song bcuz I can relate to it on a personal level. It also happens to be one of the 1st AB songs that I ever heard after "Addicted To Pain" which was actually the very 1st AB song that I ever heard. I'm not sure if you have reacted to that yet...but if you haven't, might I suggest that you do the official video!😁

Awesome! Please watch alter bridge, “watch over you” live @ o2 arena. It’s just Myles Kennedy and his acoustic guitar but it’s a solid performance. Great singing and interaction with the crowd. 🤘🏼

If you don't want to hear something sterile and that doesn't make you move from your chair, you could debut on the channel the band Gojira and the song Pray, Amazonia or Silvera. If you want to hear something that sounds different and creative, this is going to become one of your favorite bands for its blowing the fucking ceiling approach.
Enjoyed the band - pretty epic obviously because the band name Godzilla (but in OG japanese).
ALTER BRIDGE IS MY BAND.....M.Y. B.A.N.D.....I HAVE NOTICED THAT WHEN THEY ARE LIVE, SOMETIMES MYLES WILL NOT SING THE SAME AS HE DOES ON THE ALBUMS. WHY....I THINK IT'S TO REST HIS VOICE. THE MAN HAS SUCH A RANGE, LIKE YOU'VE REITERATED MANY TIMES, AND WHEN THEY ARE TOURING YOU KNOW...YOU KNOW....HIS VOICE HAS GOT TO SUFFER. SO HE WILL TONE SOME SONGS DOWN. I UNDERSTAND IT, AND ESPECIALLY WITH THEM BEING LIVE.....and that will take away from them, when new listeners are hearing them for the first time. Please..Please...go listen to this song on the album...I think you'll appreciate it more. I just love Alter Bridge, they are My Peace, and Mark's lyric writing has damn near told my life story...REAL SHIT... THEY'RE MUSIC AS A WHOLE, SINGS TO MY SOUL. Anytime you ever listen to a live performance that doesn't quite get you there.....PLEASE PLEASE...GO HEAR THE SONG ON THE ALBUM, AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!
Some songs from Blackbird album like "ties that bind, come to life, coming home, buried alive and white knuckles", are just to get high, I think the musics that gets closer to the titletrack are "brand new start and before tomorrow comes".
Ill admit the album version of this song is always better than when they perform it live, IDk why that is but it just is.
However im sure you'll love their live performance of white knuckles from this show.
Aside from what the other people said, it's probably that they play it faster than on the album too. Same thing happened to Find the Real. I like the album version of both (compared to the 'references' of your reactions) better. Typically it's not a thing you have, but maybe it's more of a "get hooked when listening again" song. When I started listening to Soundgarden that happened a lot btw :D

In the blackbird albums I would say Coming Home is ne of the best songs in that album and I think you should react to it
Good but it didn't hook me which got me wondering do all songs have a hook?
Every song has a hook (allegedly)....but just like with fishing; just because you have a hook that doesn't mean you're going to catch anything.
What's happening ? Are you reacting only "B side" songs from them now ? hehe
Am I the only one who thinks an initial reaction to a song should always be to the studio version? I just think you need to hear a song the way it's intended to sound before hearing it live.

Can't disagree too much with you David, they are in my top 3 favourite bands, but this track is definitely more filler than most tracks from them!
Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I honestly don’t think the Blackbird album has ANY filler songs at all. I mean that’s my opinion and I’m probably biased because it’s my favorite Alter Bridge album and probably in my top 5 albums of all time

I know tool lateralus got a high 9, I believe nightwish got a high 9, and skillet legendary got a middle 9.

I don't need you to love every song. This one grew on me, but I don't rank it in my top 25 Alter Bridge tracks.

Where are the Alter Bridge epics like The Last Hero?
Yeah, this seems like a 'light' moment between bigger ones at the concert. Compared to other songs in this concert, not the best by far.... and compared to Royal Albert concert with full orchestra, a bit disappointing.

In my opinion the drummer stole that song. He was rock solid! But it was a good song. I enjoyed it.
The band seemed slightly uninspired to play that song, like, maybe they've played it a million times too many. Or maybe just end of set. There's not a lot of difference between the appearance of uninspired and exhausted! hahaha...
