I worked in Brazil for many years with the beloved people from Arkansas...Their warmth (despite we hear Americans are very cold...maybe the Yankees...anyhow!), their gracious way of talking and oh man, their love and respect for God and people. I love Arkansas even though I've never been there. One day maybe. Go Arkansas!

Redstone Nerd Yep, I love Arkansas too, and I live here and it is very pretty. Probably what you experienced here in this state is the Southern Hospitality. Most Yankees make stereotypical statements about the South, because it dates back to the Civil War era.

Yeah, and Texans negatively affect our quality of life with their aggressive driving, loud and reckless ATV riding on our country roads and leaving pile of trash wherever they go.

Prairie Grove, Gentry, Siloam Springs, Eureka Springs. All surround bigger communities and your far enough away. Eureka Springs is very nice area.

Try building a log home, and maybe live in Winslow near Devil's Den State Park. I plan on doing that in the next few years. I live here in Arkansas. It truly is the "Natural State". Check out my videos on my channel playlist called "Arkansas Tours", to see where I have been here in the state of Arkansas.

Arkansas nice to retire but to get a good career no.My family moved to Arkansas in 1836 and it always had it ups and downs .My grandparents had a bunch land and each child would build a house on it and took care of my grandparents till they passed. They only paid 100.00 for the land house in 1921.

Just don't move here unless you can own a home. Renters have no rights here.

    • @jimmyjacuzzi5424

I rent here in Hot springs. Nice place. You want a lease that stipulates whos responsible for repairs. I rent from two business partners that owns many properties. Its a better arrangement it seems than my last which was an individual who owned 3 properties and didn't fix anything n showed up unannounced whenever with no lease. Just due diligence. Go in with caution. But basically renters have no rights here without a lease.
