    With the lake being so low, what depth is the plane at now?

    If the lake gets low enough it might be a good idea to pull it up and put it in a museum in the area so nobody comes taking pieces or damage it in any other way.

    I can't wait to do a dive like this. To see planes or ships sunk and lost to time. So cool.

      We can't wait for that either!!!

      If you like that stuff, go to Coron Palawan in the Philippines. I dove there a few years ago dove 3 WWII Japanese ships that the Allies sunk. In addition, it is beautiful there!!!

    Those quagga mussels are everywhere here in the AZ lakes. Great for water clarity but wreak havoc on everything else.

    In a few months no scuba needed!

      What’s happening in a few months that could prevent you from needing scuba?

      @@scottsscubaservice I'm assuming he saw an article or went there and saw something like this: www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/news/lake-mead-drought-photos-colorado-b1883752.html
      He's probably thinking if the lake keeps draining eventually the plane will be above water or osmething

      @@scottsscubaservice the water is getting lower and lower each year 😭🥲

    If the water levels get lower soon you might not need a special permit

    • @scottsscubaservice
      @scottsscubaservice  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The special permit is not because of the depth, it is because of the historical protection.

    • @DragonTorquemovies
      @DragonTorquemovies 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Has anyone thought of making plans to rescue the plane if they lake water drys up no longer protecting it from the harsh elements?

    • @Scambush
      @Scambush 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DragonTorquemovies Just see if anyone from Darryl Greenamyer's "Kee Bird" crew are still around? Hopefully this one won't catch on fire.
