  • We can sense it-the world is mounting in rage. Shootings, bombings, knifings…different weapons but the same outcome. Yet every problem has a solution. When we are open enough, we see it. The solution to rage-filled violence must begin by first taking a long look at two words that seem the same…but are not. Anger. Rage. It’s a case of mistaken identity. Know the difference and we can potentially reduce violence within communities, homes, and work places. Teach this to others, and we just might save the life of someone we love.

Cindy, you are such a brilliant mind and person. I learned so much from your talk. I never thought about the differance of anger vs rage. I now have a good understanding.

Interesting topic. I had always assumed anger was an emotion to be avoided. I do see now that anger, properly used, can motivate people to action. It's hard in the moment of anger to make sure you're using it for good, not for destruction, but I am intrigued by this topic. Lots to think about after hearing this concept! Thanks for introducing this idea.

This is one of the dullest TEDtalks I have ever watched.
