Damn, the way he calmly commands and utilize his squad's abilities is so terrifying in its own way.
I love how Astel can change his IGLing style.
Back in CR Cup, probably because his teammates were a fellow monster who can stand on equal footing and someone who is pretty much new to the game but got the basic right, he's like... how to say it.. the way he call his shot were more on the map movement, pretty general, unspecific and basically letting Tsuna to make most of the calls when it comes to fights.
Here, ofc because his teammates arent as good as Tsuna or Mother-san... well he sounds more like a teacher rather than a normal IGL lol which show how good he is at adapting to the environment.
You see, he couldnt talk that much at the end... while back in CR Cup, he can still make some calls when needed even in a clutch fights.
But still, it's still nice to see his adaptability. I really love that aspect of his IGLing.
Yes,,, I really like the combination of Astel and Tsuna, and of course Mother too.
Astel has 3 modes of calling depending on how good his teammates are. His teammates now are the best he's ever for a V saikyou. The reason he appears to be explaining more now is that this is only their 2nd? Full party custom so they don't even have basic chemistry down. They're still testing limits. But at the end this won't be as play by play instructions like last year since last year both Rene and Kotone needed even more instructions. Ars also doesn't play Seer so astel is basically teaching her

Love they way Astel do the IGL man, such smooth and calm way of commanding his team. Kinda cute on how they tease one another outside the match and when in the game, Astel just completely compliments them to the point that I feel like they're a bit embarrassed. Rooting hard for this team!

Astel is a good IGL. The fact that Ars does not panic when their best player is down, and Asumi can cover for him. He can still effectively command his teammates even when out of action.

He's used to them. He's so highly rated he's almost always with newer teammates. This is the strongest squad he's gotten in that they don't need basic training. Exception being Kagayaki cups or CR cups since those are more top heavy
Astel and gorila always teamed with ppl with plat teams at vsaikyo since they have high point it's always him teaching the kids all the time.

The way Astel leads and able to still calm to manage the team are so mind-blowing. however they can overcome also survive from that hard spot and take over the game. Damn! So good!
This is probably 2nd time Astel goes serious mode( or i like to call it IN THE ZONE), the 1st one was last year custom with Rene and Kotone, 2nd one in this custom and his hand was shaken in both after matches . So happy that astel's team got their 1st champion plus mah alien maggie gone wild 4k damage and 11 kills.

Imo he have already done a lot of clutch in custom and tournament, just like in Kagayaki Cup and CR, also the 3rd Vsaikyo where he is the damage king.

I am so glad this this is TL, thank you I was watching the live & it was so hype and was ultra surprised by the way his IGL was so calm. If I remember correctly there was a fair few run ins with Qpi's team throughout the custom as well, the part at the start being one of them

Yeah Astel and Qpi’s teams were both playing edge and in the same area so they fought each other a lot. Poor Gamma had to apologize to his teammates on behalf of his senpai who kept griefing them with Maggie 😂😂
Yeah the guys aim is at peak condition. Astel going silent for the last 2 kills he was in the zone. You can tell he was too focused when his anime line was 2 secs late lol

There's not much reaction this time. Less teams are participating in that custom and some are not even streaming.
As far as I can see only Lisa's team had one, Axel is streaming but on enemy POV. If you want you can look at their stream 2 days ago.
Adding the comment above me. Qpi's team reacted to him too, tho Qpi was in practice range after their team was wiped by Astel (they're the team from lava city). But fortunately Gamma and Runa aka her teammates both stayed on the match, so you can look at their reaction towards AAAA. Even though Qpi didn't watch the match till the end, she got the report from them and she was happy over the fact that they won the match.

The only team i could remember streaming are; Reid Team | Kanae Team | Lisa Team | Qpi Team
Though only Gamma and Runa stayed to watch, cause Qpi left cause she felt if she stay to watch and see them win and Special Grade Curse Object-chan causing drill and Nemesis havoc it would frustrate(?) her abit (I dont remember the exact word she used to describe her feelings at that time). Not in a bad way of course, she said she herself would watch the archive after she finish streaming

Never played APEX ever, so i dont know much about the game. But i love Towa and Selen, therefore i was bound to see some APEX clips from them. Long story short, from AREAPO clips and many VSPO's clips later, here i am. Even i can tell that Astel is insane at the game, the hype is well deserved, very fun to watch.
