True they had a newbie despite having really good aim mother3 showed his inexperience when they got into fights that targeted him first. If he continues he's gonna be a monster
If they didn't get bad luck in the last round, they would have made it into Top 3 for sure. I never got really pissed at the Goddess of Luck as much as that day.
Hope Astel gets crazy confidence for IGL-ing from now on since he's such a natural leader and a fragger. Chuna did an amazing job of fragging and sub-igling with seer, giving lots of info which synergized with astel's mad maggie and his calls. And mother3 who doesn't have much experience with apex but a natural fps demon (valorant, csgo background) and also able to keep up the two demons on the team ended up making a really balanced team!! Astel has proven himself to be able to keep up with the best of the best and able to come in 4th highest damage dealer in CR Cup. Never have I been so proud to be an astella!! The games were really fun to watch and the team members bounced off each other really well. Never have I felt so empty after being so invested in their scrims and the actual tournament after it ended...pien. Here's to more tournaments ahead!!! #明日を繋ぐお母3win !!
Astels IGL still isn't great. Honestly Tsuna had better calls but Astel can IGL for beginners better since he's so used to it. Astels strength imo is reading the map and where to rotate and where other teams rotate. He's very very good at scouting too but when it comes to fight calling he tends to be too aggressive that sometimes his teammates especially the newer ones get left behind. He's done better lately in this regard but he needs more work to be a true igl. He's not on the level YET as Noah Kurumi who can IGL all the way and win rounds with that. These rounds where they did well was where the safe zone was already close to them and they didn't need to traverse far.
@@venkaramon What also helped is that Tsuna also helps keep the mood light, which allows the team in general to make good calls when things get tight. When Astel gets into it, that's usually when his aggressive nature comes out.
@@venkaramon I agree. Astel fills more of a lurker/enabler role rather than an IGL. Alelu said it in a more joking light but Astel can be over-focused on using his drill and getting poke damage than commanding the team. E.g. "You see this Mad Maggie right here? YOU SEE THIS MAD MAGGIE RIGHT HERE?!" For being on a team with no predators, using an off-meta legend and being the only Mad Maggie in the tournament, and winning 2 champions in the tourney, I think Astel earned the right to brag a little. If only he mad at least 3rd just so he can step up to the podium and get the commentators to say "MADO MAGGI?!". I'm really glad Astel chose to stick with Mad Maggie. In a tournament full of meta legends sticking to the usual camp meta, Astel was the wild card in spicing things up and making the game more fun to watch. The commentators and main stream chat losing their minds on the riot drill kill for Champion in game 4 was all the moral victory speech he needs; even Astel himself didn't comprehend that happened as "CHAMPION" text flickered onto screen
I really wanted them to win especially after the 1st champion, but getting 2/5 champions is truly impressive especially since they didn’t have a pro or a predator on their team. Hope we get to see more of Astel’s Maggie on other tourneys!!
They had a genuine good shot at first as they were only 4 points behind CPT going into the final match. But luck wasn't on their side due to getting jumped by Cheeky. #1 JP Apex player was hunting them, they were not going to be able disengage and lose him; fighting it out was the only option and that wasn't likely to resolve in their favor without 3rd party interference. They had been able to avoid a direct 1v1 confrontation with Cheeky's team up until then too; just luck wasn't on their side in the critical final game. Had they lived a bit longer to get some kills, the might have been able to win it all. Selly's team killing literally a 3rd of the lobby was a real unexpected twist and upset on predictions, so it was still an exciting way for the final Apex CR Cup to conclude; as well as being a strong rep for HoloPro between how much Astel and Towa stood out in a lobby teeming with pros, expros, and formal Predator ranks.

ギガドリルブレイクキル。
Can you edit the reactions please? I really want to see it 😂😂😂
There were barely reactions from other teams since it was the real tourney so they focused more on discussing what they could have done and so so. Towa did cheer for astel in the first round
Su-chan's reaction was the best like she was really hyped for Astel on that last 1v1 despite malding a few minutes ago about him picking mad maggie again and sending her a "I'm in your care again" DM before the tournament started
they barely have reaction most all of them just chatting with teammate or silently watching maybe they just like "uwah sugoi" and didnt say anything. well it's normal bcs they are really competitive with each other and they still have to playing another match
Ahh so it was kinda pointless then.. thank you for sharing bois☺️☺️
Now i really wanna see the other players reaction 🤣
Chuna? Is that her nickname? xD
chuna was fraggin hard dude. wp

Astel x Mad Maggie probably gonna get banned in Vsaikyou lol
maybe next is valo. Ea doesn't care about community, pro scenes, and new content .
Strong team ngl
Chuuna dayoo
Maggie de kuyashi
LMAO that drill champ is worth 2 champs at least.
Chuna dayo🤣
So there will be no CR Cup in the future right? they said it's the last Cup.
Does that mean apex really died then?
Yes, Apex is dead. Apex went from the number one most played multiplayer game on Steam to number three most played multiplayer game. It has truly died...
If you can't see it, that was sarcasm. Apex itself has a steady playerbase, but its competitive scene is on a decline due to declining viewership.
cmiiw apex not really dead, apex still big in jp but cr decide to stop apex cup because lack of Support from the dev to tournament organization so thats why they decide to switch to another game
@@Shoraa.__ Ahhh so it's most likely due to EA being a shitty publisher all over again right? just like C9, Team Liquid etc. does that mean they're going to leave the competitive scene and drop their roster?
they said because the server were dogshit
@@nier3072 The peak frustration is from the last CR Cup 9 when it got delayed by bug and still can't be fixed by EA, Ojiji even using premium (is that what they called it?) server to hold the tourney, but in the end it's still failed and had to be changed into another game instead. They do have a CR Cup 9.5 but it's not as hype as if it's on schedule. Thanks EA I guess

Hope he can find a good team in the next Vsaikyou, don't think he's gonna get less points for using maggie anymore.
