- How to manually open a stuck tailgate in your 2002 to 2009 VW Polo Mk4 9N. If you can’t open the tailgate from the outside, you will probably need to access the locking mechanism from the interior of the car. The tailgate can get stuck closed if either the locking mechanism becomes faulty or if the handle linkage becomes detached. Thanks for watching. Please comment, like and subscribe !.

Wonderful video! A buddy of mine has a VW Polo like this and the tailgate is stuck for the third time or something. Do you know if it is a weak point of these cars? Any tips of durable solutions?
Hi!Can you make a video for the keylock of the tailgate? The key does not return at its original position..(Broken spring perhaps?)Thanks!
What about a tailgate that won’t close 🫣 tried a new latch still no luck 😩
Is the lock striker in the correct position ?. The catch might not be lining up properly with it ?
