Definitely! Productions where the musical aspects are put together in a way that that spreads things throughout the frequency spectrum without tons of overlap turn out to be the best mixes.
Do you have any other videos or anything on how do actually get clients? I have a TH-cam channel where I teach EDM producers mixing concepts and i try to get work from there but don’t get anything and I’ve tried offering free work for people but it’s a ton of work for basically no pay off and I’m just stumped.
I haven't done a video or interview specifically about finding clients, but I'll add it to the list. In the mean time check out a Carl Bahner's channel (youtube.com/@carlbahner). He does a lot about finding clients. He's really active on IG and Threads.
Great Interview!
Thanks! Glad you dug it!
Interesting perspectives, good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Working with great arrangers and producers makes the mixer's job much easier
